Jul 24, 2016 Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what? They're not referring to Hispanic voters writ large as "taco bowls," based on the date this was a direct response to Trump's roundly-mocked taco bowl fiasco from the day before. Holy s--- you need to stop reaching. Talk about being biased. The last graf of the "source" Pato links to opens "The DNC is imploding. And it’s more fun to watch than an episode of Krapdashians." Pathetic, honestly.
Jul 24, 2016 The girl is literally doing that. Does not make it less offensive. Was on the phone, I edited the link with just the original source. Tells you a lot about the bias of mainstream media though.
Jul 24, 2016 those people are so annoying. it's their only argument and annoyingly effective for whatever reason. anything derived from any empathy or compassion is now seen as PC lol
Jul 24, 2016 No, she's literally not. This is from May 6th. Trump's "taco bowl" thing was a major fiasco that the DNC obviously moved to exploit. Such a preposterous reach. I'm so floored by how thickheaded you can be. "Taco bowl" is not being used to refer to Hispanic voters--it's being used to refer to A TACO BOWL. The "mainstream media"? You cited "NewsNinja2012.com" Why do you insist on continually embarrassing yourself?
Jul 24, 2016 In '76, the Dem's internal memos definitely suggested their Comms dept exploit Watergate support. Was that..........referring to voters as "Watergates"? This is the identical linguistic structure.
Jul 24, 2016 "Mop up some more Taco Bowl engagement" These are classified emails, not a chat group filled with teenagers. How do you "engage" with a Taco Bowl? My point was that there are literally no newspaper quoting this except a clickbait Anti-Hillary website with no reputation. I edited it before you even quoted it, chill out. Why do you keep defending this?
Jul 24, 2016 Again, you simply don't have enough of a grasp on English to go this route. In industry parlance, voters/observers "engaged" with the Trump taco bowl story May 5. On May 6, the DNC wanted to see that continue. How little would you have to know about the Democratic party (and its hiring practices) to think casual racist epithets would be tolerated in internal emails? To speak to your point: This isn't a chat room with teenagers. The language was chosen to be precise. They wanted more engagement with the taco bowl story. Because only a clickbait anti-Hillary website with no reputation would be dumb enough to interpret this as racist.
Jul 24, 2016 Well, you said *just* Taco Bowl, but under that perspective, it certainly makes sense. Keep in mind that I'd consider this a reach if it wasn't for the previous leaks that expose the actions they've done to win that demographic, but I'll sit this one out.
Jul 24, 2016 That makes sense. How come you didn't just say that without the hostility? I didn't understand it either. Then again, I don't even know what DNC stands for.
Jul 24, 2016 The irony of you scouring the fifth-rate gossip blog circuit to smear the DNC while referring to Klein's piece as "biased" in her favor undercuts your credibility 100 percent. No one could read this thread, then go on to take any of your posts seriously w/r/t the election.
Jul 24, 2016 Because Pato has spent the last 15 hours refusing to listen to the most basic logic or reason re: his insane posts.
Jul 24, 2016 To be fair, I was on the phone and didn't read the whole story before linking it, I was assuming it'd be a pretty standard write up. Again, I edited the post before you even quoted it, no need to get mad.
Jul 24, 2016 Why the f--- would Hillary add Debbie to her campaign when Bernie literally bailed Hillary out of any blame? It doesn't help the crooked Hillary image. Baffling.
Jul 24, 2016 Hillary isn't losing because of her policy, she's losing because she's Hillary Clinton, the representative of the corrupt establishment to many people. I would say, especially given how the election has gone, and the numbers backing the view that Sanders was more electable, there is a very strong case to say Sanders was the more electable candidate, and that the Democrats made a mistake in not backing him.
