It really comes down to this for me. Of all the music he's released this year, none of it is better than roughly half of Take Care, Dreams Money Can Buy, Free Spirit, and Club Paradise.

If Hotline Bling and 0 to 100 are anything to go by Views will definitely top 2011 Drake

He hasnt given us a loosie better than DMCB, Free Spirit, or Trust Issues yet so I fail to see your point.

Like which ones? He's been great every year tbh, but 2015 & 2011 definitely standout from the others.

My point is his last few singles have been absolute fire, level with if not better than the singles off Take Care imo.
So if the rest of Views is of a similar standard it should be at least on par with Take Care.

If your reading this too late was pretty bad. He forced beef for publicity. Pretty low year for Drake already.

Sincerely doubt he will ever top Take Care. I still like NWTS and to a lesser extent ITRT, but they don't come close to TC.

Edit: NWTS got better with age, IRRT already got worse IMO. Great songs on there but it's waaaaay too bloated.

Im appalled at OP for forgetting Lord Knows. Beat of the YEAR dawg.

To be honest 2015 is the first year I truly came to connect with drake on every level. I was always on and off about his material in the past, just seemed like for every Drake song I liked there were 1-2 i disliked. Ive enjoyed everything he put out in 2014-2015 though minus maybe 6 God. I think he found the balance in being about his manly s--- but still doing his melodies. Not to mention his experimental flows are really working out for him

And ive come to admit after juggling back and forth with this but he slaughtered meek. I never would have predicted this in 2011. Standout f---ing year man.

Agree with everything except that IYR has gotten worse. It could have been a few tracks shorter but there's still a lot of good-great stuff there. Sits comfortably at #3-4 in his discography IMO.
