Jan 7, 2016 It's cool imo in this particular context. If you were waiting for a ground breaking revolutionary single, then I understand you're disappointed.
Jan 7, 2016 I'd agree on "Wolves" being better then some tracks on College Dropout. But "All Day" and "Only One"? those are not classics. The only reason anyone remembers them is because "SWISH" ain't dropped. Once it does and the new classic tracks roll in, people will be using those for there argument on new Kanye vs. old Kanye.
Jan 7, 2016 Nah, the beats fine. It just didn't feel like Kanye when I heard it. I love Kanye, but I wasn't feeling it.
Jan 7, 2016 I think its good for what it is, but i'm pretty sure the majority don't bump that track much. I get its not a b-----r, but neither is "Gorgeous", and I revisit that track every few days.
Jan 7, 2016 but gorgeous is on kanye's best album. only one dropped on new years a year ago and hasnt been really spoken about ever since. half the people that dont think its as good as it really is just heard it hungover the next day, said wtf is this heavy/abrasive auto tune, oh its a sad song, and then never looked back. if you can tell me whats wrong with only one or why its anything less than great, id be willing to hear you out
Jan 7, 2016 Its a beautifully written song, but I feel like the execution could've been better. For starters, I feel like the autotune is actually distracting from the overall message. We get Kanye can't sing and he needs a little help, it wasn't "Awesome" obvious, but it was painfully obvious. I believe people like Kanye, Thug and Travis use Autotune correctly. However, Autotune shouldn't be so d--- distracting that it takes away from the song, it should enhance it and make it better.
Jan 7, 2016 Agreed Brubbels, extremely angry at him for not dropping an album in 2015. It'd better mean he's crafting another masterpiece
Jan 7, 2016 who ever said it wasn't? gorgeous is just a random song topdawg cited (weird comparison to begin with) and i just explained to him why he might like that more than a random loosie
