    Kendrick season really does seem to be on us.

    Why the f--- ain't this being hyped up more than this though?? I'd rather hear a new Kendrick album than Em album right now.

    TPAB & d---. are a lot more abstract than GKMC, with d---. having a few radio attempts as exceptions. I understand why the projects can be polarising due to the unfamiliar formatting but if you live with them for a period of time you might just start to appreciate them.

    There’s a reason artists like Kendrick have such cult followings, people do in fact enjoy when something isn’t an instant gratification until the next ‘b-----r’ drops. People enjoy having a record on rotation, dissecting pieces to the puzzles, understanding intertwined concepts, hearing even just one line that can make you pause a track & rewind it, or sit & analyse passages & so on. It’s art, it’s not meant to be used once & tossed away instantly, these people spend years passionately crafting music like a TPAB.

    This fast food culture of consumption is really doing a number on so many of you.

    Well he’s been rumoured to drop for a while & has released some features recently so it’s only a matter of time. Adele will dominate the charts in late November & it’s the 9 year anniversary of GKMC on Friday so the date makes sense…

    Plus the fact a CDQ snippet just dropped I’d say it’s entirely plausible but I’m remaining cautiously optimistic. Snippet was fire though. I’m so intrigued as to what this album will sound like

    3 years between Recovery and MMLP2 (hype for mmlp2 was so unreal)
    And 4 years between MMLP2 and Revival

    I was all hyped for Revival etc, but whatever happened, happened, let's not go that far lol
