are you kidding me? do you know anything about a&r? im not discounting ur overall point, but it's wholly possible for someone like myself -- with all my talents and wherewithal -- to be able to use deductive reasoning. sorry im not f----- up on codeine!!!!!! you RLY think i have no gauge -- 17 y/o's rule the world right hahahah
bro yes. but his influence isn't a magic wand. he's collaborated with soooo many other artists like.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GOOD_Music#Former_acts
( you f---ing with the latest sa ra? point: CA. sit)
you can't say "most" potential -- well you can. it's merely speculative and given your lack of scope, it's a pretty minute pov
so its WAY TOO early to compare him to wayne lol.boyz n the suburbs, ozy, Red Rum and 1 other person like this.Jan 3, 2026(This ad goes away when signing up) -

To be fair I don't think anyone can replicate Wayne's run. People move on so fast from music nowadays unless it's your favorite rapper. Soundcloud, streaming, a million rappers that sound the same, and the general population doesnt really care about who's actually making the music. Music is moving faster than ever and it's impossible to do huge numbers.Last edited: Apr 27, 2016Deadpool, Red Rum, Narsh and 1 other person like this. -

my issue with your argument was that you literally used a co-sign as a building block to try and convey that thug will one day be not just as big, but BIGGER than wayne.
yes, sales are becoming more moot, and while the industry has tried to correct that with a sales plus streaming model, it's still not an apples to apples metric. but radio success might be, and had this been a worthwhile argument, i would try and find numbers to try and show you. but it's not, you're the only person in this world who will ever claim thug will be bigger than prime wayne.
matter fact, you're one of the few people in this world who will even try and make that claim without even knowing how big prime wayne was.

he's a fraction of what wayne was, but using engines like social media, his success is more visible.

he was making a direct correlation to the two artists' career paths based on how much time has passed since they started

it's fine to think he's gonna blow up. i clearly disagree.
the amount of exposure he's already received, the reaction to that exposure, the way the general population perceives him, his style, quality, etc etc etc. so many factors, but just call it my opinion.Deadpool, lil uzi vert stan and Narsh like this. -

not sure if you're just talking mixtapes, or hits in general, but Go DJ was the first massive hit i recall hearing (C1). first big mixtape hit...i rly duno
150k is a good over/under point. i'd take that bet, but ya i agree that it would be a long a--- bet though since i know that even in thugger's senior citizen days, you'll have faith that he'll blow up hah
lol i think the more people try to compare the two artists, the more disdain i have for thugger. even those who are well versed in thugger's discography continue to make unfair comparisons... both artists are unique and successful (varying degrees, obvi) in their own right.
this is literally the dumbest response to my thoroughly stupid post... i've said it many times before, but the Wayne/Thug comparisons are foolish; there's so few similarities between the two that it's asinine to continue to compare them...yet, you're trying to correlate thug's future sale projection numbers to wayne's from 15 years ago. the few comparisons that may be between the two aren't translatable to their followings, their potential, and definitely not their sales projections. that's literally like saying that because No Doubt took 5 years to blow up, that every other slightly similar band will also take 5 years. there's more to projecting the timeline of an artist than taking your pick of what you consider to be a similar artist and slapping a label on them. you should know better than that.Deadpool, Mike Tyson and Narsh like this.Jan 3, 2026(This ad goes away when signing up) -
