    i got so bored while waiting i accidentally fell asleep and just now woke up lolol

    Had it for for 10 minutes, was to slow and to much new, reinstalled 8.1:idk:

    For u have it, u recommend it? how is it compared to 8.1?

    If you want all that stuff back, so try test disk. It has helped recover s--- from a formatted HDD. I got everything back. Have patience.

    Yea, but I installed linux, over the windows installation... I've tried every program and nothing can help me, unless im doing something wrong.. plus now the partition is just one big one, instead of a split partition like it was before. Now, that I got windows back.. still nothing works.

    Ok, when using test disk, there is one for Windows and Linux, you will have to look up some general settings for recovering data and stuff on the internet.

    What had happened for me was I installed an old preview of Windows 10, didn't realize that if I uninstalled it, it would f--- up my bootloader for windows 8.1, so upon uninstalling it, I did f--- everything up and trying to use Ubuntu to fix it was a b----. I wound up just reinstalling 8.1 and then using test disk I looked into old deleted partitions and stuff and found all my directories with all my s--- in it and brought it over.

    It is not a graphical UI, it is basic like CMD, but let it scan the system, clusters etc and you will be able to get into the formatted stuff and recover it. Trust me, nothing is lost dude. It is all there.

    Anyone have this issue or know a fix. Everything has been working fine up until yesterday. When I try to access WiFi it says limited connectivity even though it's working in every other device

    I've also noticed this, especially when you wake your device it tends to do that.

    Even if the Drive letter is no longer there?.. I was told if the drive was over written it's gone forever

    Have you been able to fix it? Is there a way to.go back to windows 8 if I want without a disc?

    It happens to me maybe once a day, I just disconnect and connect again and it fixes it.

    You can download windows 8 and put it on a usb, shouldn't be a problem to get back.

    I'm not on Windows 10 yet (I'm avoiding till they fix some bugs) but I had the same issue when i first got Windows 8. Go to network and sharing centre then find your network and click forget network. It should be fine for a few days after then you can just repeat the process if it happens again
