Mar 28, 2015 That's the thing, i am not saying Kendrick intended to bring a lot of different messages on the track, but a lot of people had a different vision of what is the meaning behind the song, which means that K-Dot is not an amateur writter and knows how to count an story with metaphors behind without sounding preachy or corny. Mar 28, 2015 Weirdest s--- Ive ever read m8 but you arent alone. Even my roommate wasnt a fan of the "lovin you is complicated" s--- at first. But like, I think its f---ing awesome. And, at least, I have no idea how it's tough to listen to lol. He's just singing...a lot of singers sing in that style And at least his voice is normal for the first verse vs the 2nd half of the song idk, i ont get it breh

Mar 28, 2015 Yeah my bottom 5 are: 1. complexion 2. HMADC 3. These Walls 4. Mortal Man 5. For Free so complexion is my least favorite (still great). i might like HMADC more than these walls, but idk. I think I like Mortal Man more than all those 3, but not kinda sure. I know I like for free more than those 4 for sure, and I guess at that point, that would be my next vote. For Sale would be 6

Mar 29, 2015 Im the last person on this forum who would mimick anyone tbh. Its not like i think this song is trash and should be eliminated as fast as possible. I've came to the conclusion recently that this album is much better than i initially thought and actually it verges on being classic now. You know whats a trademark of all classic albums? All of them are cohesive as f--- and partially it is the reason why ive chosen alright this time. My criticism towards this track has nothing to do with Kendrick. I enjoy his verses and I see how significant this song is for the concept of the album. I just don't like the beat and Pharrel's part. The repetiveness of the hook doesnt work here imo. He's so boring and apathetic that i almost fell asleep when i was listening to this song for the first time. It's still a 7\10 song. Every choice of the song is controversial in this thread. LOL
