Mar 26, 2015 you're all morons lol for sale has such a great hook. i 100% guarantee all of you guys voting for it will realize how stupid your'e being down the line. literally the only correct answer right now is complexion
Mar 26, 2015 \Why not kick Lucy out of the room first? But yeah, Complexion is easily my next vote, after that it'll get more difficult for me
Mar 26, 2015 You Ain't Gotta Lie (Momma Said) Spoiler please don't ban me I have only listened to this album 3 times so far.
Mar 26, 2015 Because complexion is boring. it ends up being a pointless exercise. The best part of complexion is the transition into TBTB. It's the only track I skip when listening to the album on shuffle. For Sale at least plays a lot more into the overall narrative. The intro is awesome, the hook is great (one of my friends favorite on the album) and the verse is actually great. especially when you put it side by side with the only other interlude on the album It's definitely better than Complexion.
Mar 26, 2015 I've listened to this album like 50-60x this week. Before i go to bed i'll play Mortal man, during morning prayers i play Hood politics or Intuitionalize
Mar 26, 2015 you aint gotta lie to kick it has become my new favorite from the album... id get rid of for sale i think i like the chorus alot but that spoken poetry verse s--- is for the birds
Mar 26, 2015 As I said in the spoiler I have only listened to TPAB 3 times so far. I want to take part in the game so I decided to choose the least enjoyable song. I don't really have arguments against it. Furthemore, my vote doesn't matter because For Sale is gonna get eliminated nonetheless. Please, don't k--- me over this.
Mar 26, 2015 its "poetic" writing for sure tho. the extended metaphor for lucifer and s---. but it's kind of obvious and wears that on it's sleeve...so i just sit back and enjoy the good rapping/atmosphere/hook/intro for sale > complexion
Mar 26, 2015 Fair points. I see Complexion as a breather at that point of the album, a smooth song before the energetic TBTB, and that transition in the end is well done. I agree that the song isn't something special, and it could have been swapped for maybe another interlude? But I think that something has to be there, after HMADC and before these closing songs. and that's still my main problem, as you already know right? Complexion could be a better song, but it's fine for what it is (at least, for what I took it for). It's not canon, but it's that 2 episode filler before the next arc, and that's always welcome.
