Apr 6, 2015 ok my bad. I meant the yell the "ahhhh!" part it just kills my vibe sometimes. It sounds forced it's not convincing to me
Apr 6, 2015 Yeah. Like I quoted below (shoulda tagged you) I specifically mean the "ahhh!" Yell s--- doesn't sound convincing sounds a bit corny but other than that the song is so goat
Apr 6, 2015 I think U is probably a better song than King Kunta, but the historical allusion and paradox of KK is pretty fantastic, and the vibe of the song is just infectious, so I have to vote U this round. Add me to the mentions btw.
Apr 6, 2015 Our n----- Kendrick saying Momma's his favourite song off the album and y'all bumping it off on round 4 smh. Always said it was a jam, so underrated by y'all.
Apr 6, 2015 link? it was my fav song but i listened to it so much before the rest of the album man i am on pure fire @BigCountry
Apr 6, 2015 Have to disagree with Kendrick tbh cuz Momma's prolly my least favorite non-interlude. Also Mortal Man better than institutionalized? f--- outta here. I'm voting out Mortal Man. Hope this comes down to Hood Politics and Wesley's Theory.
Apr 6, 2015 says at 25:50 his favourite song is Momma followed by These Walls and King Kunta. This n----- knows whats up lmao
Apr 6, 2015 Honestly always has been my favourite song off the album, the beat has that Poe Mans Dreams feel to it, smooth as f---
Apr 6, 2015 i assume because people heard most of it in freestyle..and heard outro live in i performance...they didnt feel it
Apr 6, 2015 I don't think it's a bad song...it just doesn't do much for me personally. I understand why it would be meaningful to Kendrick though.
Apr 6, 2015 How Much a Dollar Cost probably the track that's grown the most on me. It only hit me recently how deep and dense the story telling is on it, the sort of writing that would take me about 5 years to write.
Apr 6, 2015 Momma started to grow on me. The third verse and outro are the best part. Would be better with only two verses.
Apr 6, 2015 Personally I care about the vibe of the song and the overall production first and foremost and then the actual rap and message second. Like the only reason people like Hot n----- is cause the production turns up so no one cares that the bars are s---. Good production can still make a good song out of a bad verse but terrible production over any verse no matter how good it is ruins the entire song. That's probably why I love Momma so much, the atmosphere it creates is just amazing.
Apr 6, 2015 king kunta i missed couple rounds somehow disappointed alright is gone … only thing wrong with alright is that it doesnt have a 3rd verse
Apr 6, 2015 2nd hottest thread behind the J. Cole Chat thread Keep voting guys, only 6 tracks are left
Apr 6, 2015 You said HMADC was too straight forward. TBTB is easily the most straightforward track on here. or maybe KK.
