Still unsure what exactly the track is about entirely (i like it for that too) but i like to think it's about the experience he got from going to Africa. Not saying it is... i just like to think of it that way and after reading the third verse on Genius, it seems very plausible. The beat just gives me this vibe and imagery of kendrick being all comfortable chillin' in africa with his ancestors and s---. Complexion.
Mar 27, 2015 It's usually a toss-up for me between Momma and Complexion as which one is my least favourite tracks off the album and right now it just happens to be Momma. I did vote Momma in the first round as well though and I realized that I probably should have voted for For Sale? and that was probably the right call to go first. For Free? though, I couldn't vote for because I love that spoken poetry/jazz vibe it's got. Also the Wesley's Theory-For Free?-King Kunta run is f---ing great.
