Sep 20, 2016 imagine putting any more thought into it other than "hey i like this and i think ill listen to it"
Sep 20, 2016 Hip Hop is far from dead. When 10 years pass alot of fans will look back at this time and consider it a golden era. There's more balance than ever, more innovation, and more artists to gravitate towards. There's something for everyone nowadays. I'm genuinely suprised OP has this sentiment when there's artists like Kendrick, KRIT, Chance, Earl, Vince and many others that are carrying the torch And Btw f--- all the dustheads dissing artists like Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert. They flow at a phenomenal level and are bringing fresh new elements to the game
Sep 20, 2016 dustheads are fundementalists, I'm on the fence because i grew up on 90s rap and it's the sound that always stuck to me most, But im finding constant guilty pleasures in this current era.
Sep 20, 2016 That's just your opinion though, op ignorant af lmao. Rap better than ever, more diverse quantities of art than ever before.
Sep 20, 2016 I've heard all 4. Lil Big Pac is his best and thats a 7/10 to me. He has a 10/10 song here and there but his projects are always weighed down by filler. I won't write him all the way off until the debut though
Sep 20, 2016 Please don't word things like Young Thug & Lil Uzi. I'm a Uzi fan, a big one BUT he can't even grab at Thuggers toes. Young Thug is an active icon and future legend not just in rap but music history. Uzi can never have the impact thug has. h--- Uzi gained most of his attention from Thug calling him sexy
Sep 20, 2016 This. Without a doubt its a generational thing. I'm over 30, i don't like the new stuff. Does it bother me? No. I just enjoy the stuff i do like and legends are still making music. I got Dre in 2015, Snoop in 2016, i'm happy.
Sep 20, 2016 I can't wait til the next gen are on forums calling everybody in the Lil Yachty section mountain dew drinking dust head weirdos
Sep 20, 2016 When we get to make new threads everyday speculating on when the new album drops and every detail aboit it and then it never comes
Sep 20, 2016 We've been in a second golden age of Hip-hop since 2012. Why would we be worried about it? Anyone who says its dead is probably irrelevant. Even the older 90's producers in hip-hop would disagree.
