Worked at a sawmill for a couple months and it was f---ing h---. We started at 6am everyday. Didn't matter what the weather or temperature was. We worked in pouring rain at times. Stood in six inches of mud usually. We'd have to pick the logs up out of the mud and carry them on our backs with all kinds of nasty insects on them. I would get so dirty there that I had to go home on my lunch break and change clothes. Worst of all it only paid $7/hr. Finally decided to quit after shooting myself in the hand with a nail gun.

I was a dishwasher before too and holy s--- it was brutal. Every 15 minutes felt like 2 hours. Time dragged unbelievably. You'd finally finish a stack of dishes and they'd bring more. Only did that job for a month thank god.

Yeah I wouldn't be caught dead doing that. I can work at tim hortons for slightly above minimum wage because I am capable human. Minimum wage is $11/hr? here and that sounds way worse than having a bunch of people yell at you because their coffee doesn't taste just right.

Yea I worked there back in 2004 when minimum wage was $5 so $7 was good back then. Pretty sure minimum wage is $8 in PA now.

okay yeah thats a decent amount more than minimum.

Worst job I had I was selling lawn aeration and getting commission, I had to go door to door and find my own clients the place was bs but that was back when I was on my grind. They loved me there but I ended up after like my first week even though I had made the most out of all the newer employees and most of the older during the time I worked there.

Even though I was one of the top sellers, I spent around 16hr days (they picked the length) and still was barely making $10/hr the job was bs. On the work trip that i went on to another city I was making like nothing even with the bonuses. The only part of that I enjoyed was getting high in the hotel washroom with my coworkers who also quit so quickly.

F'real the worst job I had was probably being a PA. You're first to arrive and last to leave and you do all the b---- work. It's a $200/day rate where I live which would be great if you were only working a typical 8 hour shift, but when you're working 12-16 hours in a day the pay quickly turns to s---.
