Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Lakers.

For AFL it was the 2006 Preliminary Final loss by Adelaide against West Coast after leading at half-time.

s--- still burns deep down. We should've won it all in 06. :mjcry:

Cardinals losing to the Cubs like they did in the NLDS this year for sure.

Honorable mention(s) would be both Chael losses to Anderson Silva and Hendricks losing to GSP

As you can see from my Avy im obviously not over their loss to MSU 2 weeks ago - i dont think i will ever get completely over it tbh.
looking at the bright side of that, though - I feel like i can handle any loss in the future after enduring that travesty.

other than that, the other ones that come to mind are all Michigan games as well.
'05 Rose Bowl vs. Texas when Vince Young went insane for like 400+

    '06 Ohio State game. #1 vs #2.
If Shawn Crable doesn't get a 3rd down roughing the passer call late in the 4th quarter - Michigan has a shot to win that game and go to the national title (and likely get stomped by Florida like OhSt did)

'13 NCAA National Championship - Michigan vs. Louisville.
Michigan came out hot in the first half and i thought they were gna pull it out. but of course not!!!!!

I was too young to remember any of the 4 straight Bills Super Bowl losses, but I'll never forget the disappointment, disbelief and anger I felt watching how the 2000 Wild Card game against Tennessee played out. Also known as the Music City Miracle. That's the last time the Bills played in a playoff game (January 8th, 2000).

And of course the famous "no goal" where Brett Hull scored the Stanley Cup winning goal in triple overtime with his foot in the crease.

It hasn't been easy being a Buffalo sports fan and there doesn't appear to be any change in sight :hovcry:

    @redsoxx

You know what pisses me off even more than the David Tyree catch?

The decision for an all out blitz, and leaving Ellis Hobbs alone on Plaxico Burress. What a bad play call that was.

That whole drive frustrates me for several reasons:

    - We had a 4th and 1, and Bruschi hits Brandon Jacobs in the backfield, but he somehow gets the first down.
    - Adalius Thomas sacks Eli, and the ball comes out (although, it wasn't a fumble, it was close).
    - Asante having the ball go through his hands, which would have been a game ending interception.
    - Rodney Harrison had his hands on an interception too, but it was a very tough one to make, that would've ended the game.
    - Brandon Meriweather with an opportunity at an interception.
    - Eli avoiding the sack on the David Tyree play.

    Ugh, f--- that game.

Anyways, you mentioned a ton of my personal worst losses. Here's mine:

    Patriots losses:
    - Pats vs Giants Super Bowl 42... Worst loss ever.
    - Pats vs Giants Super Bowl 46... Kick in the nuts.
    - Pats vs Colts AFC Title Game 2006-07.... 21-3 at one point.
    - Pats vs Packers Super Bowl 31... All honesty, I was shocked we even made it that year lol, but still s----d losing and watching Favre celebrating
    - Pats vs Steelers playoffs in 1997... 7 to f---ing 6. f--- you Pete Carroll. Especially after our SB appearance a year prior.

    Red Sox losses:

    - I remember that Aaron Boone HR like it was yesterday. I remember sitting there like, we will never ever win a f---ing World Series. We've had some awful losses, but I can't even describe the lack of hope after that loss lol.
-1999 losing to the Yankees in the ALCS... I remember Boston fans throwing s--- on the field, and my dad (who's a Yankee fan) giving me s--- for that series... And Clemens and Wells drinking beers with the Babe Ruth statue... ugh...
    - 2008 Game 7 of ALCS vs Rays.

    Boston Celtics:

    - 2002 vs New Jersey Nets Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.... I know we were going to lose, but after Paul Pierce went off in the fourth, and that epic comeback in game 5, I thought we were destined to beat the Nets and take on the Lakers, and I'd be able to see a Lakers vs Celtics Finals... lol nope.
    - 2010 vs Lakers, Game 7 of NBA Finals.... You already said it... The injury to Perkins just f---ing pisses me off looking back.
    - 2012 vs Miami Heat, Game 6 of Eastern Conference Finals... After Paul Pierce nails that clutch shot in game 5, and we were up 3-2, AND going back to Boston, I was convinced we were going to the Finals. "good game good effort"... I just felt like we had Lebron's number. Then Lebron went f---ing off, and I just knew we weren't going to beat them in game 7.

The 90's, as a Boston fan, just s----d. There really wasn't much joy at all. Other than the Pats in the Super Bowl, my only other favorite moment of the 90's was when Pedro went off in the 99 All Star Game at Fenway.

I'm not a hockey fan, so I can't really comment on the Bruins, although, I'm sure I'd be heart broken after that Flyers collapse from a few years ago.
