    "Tupac wouldn't be held in such high regard if he hadn't died" is such a weird revisionist thing to say. Pac was already a superstar and considered among the greatest, at the very least on his respective coast, in his lifetime.

    Pac being overrated is a boring contrarian take.

    I think BC mentioned it the other day. It's one of the most prominent "phases" of new rap listeners, the 'Tupac is overrated phase'

    Then some time after u realize how dumb it was to ever think that

    That being said Pac being GOAT is also a boring, safe take.

    Pac is definitely top ten, maybe top 5 on the shortlist but he is by no means the greatest rapper of all time

    Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Biggie, Eminem, and even Drake I would say are higher on the list

    Edit: don’t know how I could forget Kanye but him too no doubt

    it's totally reasonable to think pac is the greatest rapper of all time. he's not my #1 but he's certainly in the group of people who wouldn't raise eyebrows if you put him there. please don't ever suggest kanye, drake, or eminem are in the same stratosphere as him.

    Also the Vikings pissed me off last week so I'm going to a Pac avy, f--- it..nothing I wanted to do less than change my d--- avy before the super bowl but f---in Vikings choked again..

    I never said it was unreasonable, I said it was a safe pick that’s a bit played out.
    Kanye and Drake have more consistent runs than Pac had, and Eminem has MMLP which is one of the greatest records of all time, and in terms of pure talent Eminem could rap better than him.
    Just because you don’t like Drake or Eminem doesn’t mean they aren’t two of the greatest rappers of all time (yes even Drake. His 2011-2015 run is amazing)
