I think a lot of that has to do with both Pacs Personality and Music too. At surface level he is a likable guy with good music, dive a little bit deeper and some of his issues might come to light, dive all the way in and you really understand who he is and how great his music is

The only shortcomings Kanye has as a rapper is he’s not overly lyrical, which isn’t a bad thing at all. Then again neither was PAC, but pac was actually heading into the direction of multi-syllable rhyming right before he died

Fair enough. I think personally that the Writing was looser on Yeezus in order to shift attention to the emotions and such. Like on songs like HML the Writing is simpler and dumbed down but conveys one of the most emotional scenes of his life perfectly. Not all of life is so well written and scarless

    Great read @WPG

Culture II coming out and its length had me thinking about double albums, specifically All Eyez on Me. Listening to the album for what I believe to be the first time in full later on today. Excellent write up

Really excellent. Love the historical context you gave the album.

What’re your thoughts on the 7 Day Theory, @WPG ? Not a popular opinion, but i actually prefer it to All Eyez On Me.

I love me some Drake but he does not belong in these conversations with Tupac. That’s blasphemy.

@WPG do you have a favorite posthumous Pac album?

I really like r u still down and until the end of time, not sure which I’d choose between those 2. RUSD was left the way he wanted it more so I guess that helps in that sense, but I’m almost leaning more towards UTEOT personally.

I'm not liking that ISIS song. intro to the album shouldn't be an introduction to terrorist organizations. @WPG should apologize to muslims

lol my god man, sensitive much? nothing funnier than you triple-posting ad hominem nonsense when someone makes fun of "he's more lyrical now because he's rhyming more syllables."

to be honest with you i'd have to go back and look through the tracklists; the pac songs that weren't on the real albums, whether they were organized onto the posthumous records or just leaked out over the years, are sort of one mass in my mind and i have my favorites out of that pile of material.

Double Albums never appealed to me honestly, I just cannot listen to anything for that long.
