    imo, groundhog day is on par with that vintage 8 mile, constant flame spitting Eminem. The production is golden. Those snares :banderas:
    and the wordplay, the flow, the writing :noah:

    Bad Guy was good until the 4th verse but other than that the rest of the album is pretty bad. Can't imagine how anyone actually finds it enjoyable to listen to.

    The beat is one of the most irritating, grinding pieces of noise I've ever heard.

    Not to mention the constant old news reporter segments and accents.

    SPOT ON!!! This guy gets it!

    MMLP2 is garbage!!! It offers a few glimmers of hope (Last verse of Bad Guy. Rap God minus the gay looking boy part. Bezerk) but there is not a single 10/10 track on there.
    The production is some of the worst I've ever heard.

    Don't even get me started on ShadyXV. Erugh!

    His worst solo album. Period.

    @M Solo you are right about the corny/horrible lines, even though I don't care about a few (that's why I enjoy half of MMLP2 songs). But I wonder, why do you like Recovery so much better than it? Most of those songs have horrible lines as well.

    @Sith Lord most of the times it's eminem is horrible vs eminem is amazing when it comes to talk about his latest albums. There seems to be no average or good

    I like Encore better than MMLP2 and always have. Encore has a handful of songs I really like, where as MMLP2 had 3 or 4, that got boring after a couple of listens.
    Never Enough's only flaw is that it's too short, but iit's still better than every song of MMLP2

    I don't know, if by a miracle mmlp2 turned out to be a classic nobody would care about the concept. But I'm talking about the execution here. He picks horrible lines out of each song to make a case against mmlp2 (nothing wrong with that since the album is filled with them). But how can you like another album, that is also filled with s-----y lines, so much better if some lines can ruin a song for you, that's what I'm wondering.

    Agreed. You got me there. Tales of "being on aunt Edna's stoop and getting pooped on by stupid pigeons" and Proof "goin coo coo ballistic" are right there with Lose Yourself, 8 Mile Road and Rabbit Run.

    Well you're right, all 3 great songs. That's why I said most of them. Same as a few on mmlp2. I understand your preference for Recovery but with cwb, not afraid, ltwyl, wtp, wbd, so bad, on fire, almost famous I wonder why by such a wide margin. Not saying I hate them, but there are plenty of s-----y lines on that album as well
