    So to those who find literally no redeeming qualities in MMLP2 and think it's absolute dogshit, I just have to ask..

    Even that last verse of Bad Guy? Not even THAT is redeemable? In any way shape or form? Nothing from that part of the song? Honestly?

    You rated this album like a 9/10 in 2013. Did it take 13 years for it to sink in? LMAO you have hardly any consistency in your opinions.

    i didnt say he heard more of the 2013-2015 releases (even tho he probably has), I said hip hop in general. because of his line of work.

    And if your standards dont change from having heard 100 hip hop albums to 300, and so on, then i dont know what to tell you

    Is two years not long enough to warrant an opinion change?

    There was a point in time where I would have rated his first three albums 10/10, but now I'd probably give his first two an 8-8.5 and TES a 7-7.5. When you start listening to more music, of course your standard is going to change—you have a larger sample size to choose from. Even if you're doing your best to be objective, opinions can still change.

    Reiterating my claim that Shady XV is 10x worse than encore/relapse. The best song on the album is a slaughterhouse song :'(

    re-evaluating and deciding your opinion has changed is a good thing. dogmatically sticking to what you said before is childish. surprise! guess which one perry values.

    also, rating tes highly in 2011 (not 2013, and it was barely 8.0, AND i rounded up, as i explained in the reviewr) was also something of a concession to SL. obviously the album has deteriorated in my eyes, and i held it in a higher esteem then. but part of that is that i had spent years being bombarded by people who worshipped and canonized eminem. the only way to reconcile that with my ears was to assume SOMETHING was great. in the last five years it's become apparent to me that, well, those people are just full of s---.

    WPG, while an incredible writer, is pure s---. Why? He was about 6 years old during peak Eminem which is why he s----s on him every review. You can binge watch the Sopranos (insert anything here) all you want, but you won't ever get the week-to-week or cultural impact it had during that period.
