Man, I get what you're saying but "fleshed out" is not at all how I would describe Yeezus...sonically, lyrically, or conceptually. It's pure flux and that's what makes it awesome.DKC, Mike Tyson, lil uzi vert stan and 1 other person like this. -

I'll give you Waves, because as good as it is, it doesn't really fit.
Lowlights is a skit/intro, not a song, but I'll give you that one.
Highlights and Famous are incredible, the latter being the best song on the album, maybe.Ordinary Joel, DKC, MTY and 1 other person like this. -

"Anonymous" is the most succinct description I've ever seen to describe exactly what's wrong with someone's writing. s---.
Right now I feel about Pablo the same way I felt about Yeezus when it came out: "at least" better than Graduation. With Yeezus, I was pretty sure I was going to rank it higher once I'd learned how to listen to it. Within days, I'd put it on and couldn't turn it off. Before I knew it, Bound 2 was up and the album was over for the second time. This one? I don't know yet, but I don't feel pulled to it the same way I did with Yeezus. A week into an album being (semi) out, that's not a good sign.lil uzi vert stan, Ordinary Joel, DKC and 1 other person like this. -

Freestyle 4 is so amateurish on one hand, but so gripping at the same time. especially knowing I Love Kanye immediately follows it and that FML is right around the corner

I love kanyes actual verse. The lexapro/episode in Mexico bit is one of my favorites parts of the albumThe song lives off the beat and the outstanding hook tbh, ultimately resulting in vibes I can't appreciate enough. The original version of FML might take the song to even higher heights but it's hard to assess that based on a not too long snippet.
The lyrics aren't what I really focus on while listening to FML in the end so that's not too much of a problem 4 me.Click to expand...

d---. Getting chills reliving that with you just now, fam. It's more than just the music to me, honestly. It takes me back vividly to when I was in 8th grade and when i started hanging out with my friends that have turned into life long friends. We would blast that album 24/7. When my friend won the 3 point competition we played Champion on the loud speakers at school it was lit. Lol reminiscing hard right nowClick to expand...Mike Tyson, Boos and Narsh like this. -

ITT: n----s who need the colouring book fully coloured to understand the pictureYeah but Yeezus's songs were immeasurbly more fleshed out. A majority of TLOP just isn't. regardless of whether that's intentional or not, it's always make TLOP harder to rank alongside his clearly more fleshed out ideasClick to expand...Ordinary Joel, DKC and white jesus like this.Nov 19, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -
