    Came in to here to post exactly this.

    I read the whole review like :khaled: "so does he like it?" Then that last paragraph just confused me more.

    Let’s go a step further. Not only is The Life of Pablo decidedly of 2016 in its musical cues, it’s made of and for our world. It’s sloppy, disconnected, and dull in the middle, yet wildly inventive and even brave when it wants to be. It gestures at Important Topics, but finds most of its depth at its darkest points.

    Anyways good review. It was scattered and disjointed but you found a way to bring it together by the end.

    Glad you showed love to the 2nd Ye verse on No More Parties. It's kinda gone under radar when talking about the album. Not sure if it's cause it's a bonus or because we've had it for so long, but definitely one of the best moments.

    @Narsh I disagree about this being potentially the worst in his discography. WPG brings up a fair point about this being his least compelling album from a writing standpoint. Regarding the writing: there are times where it is aimless, and there are times where it's failures are glaring. But this album is about more than that, and it sells itself on its aesthetic to me.

    For that reason it's his 4th or 5th best to date for me. Behind 808s, Yeezus and MBDTF (in whatever order), possibly better than College dropout, and definitely better than Graduation and Late Registration (in whatever order).

    My personal rankings right now (subject to change in the next weeks, hours, or 5 minutes - idk):
    1. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
    2. 808s & Heartbreaks
    3. Yeezus
    4. The Life Of Pablo
    5. College Dropout
    6. Late Registration
    7. Graduation
    A year from now I can see Pablo be my second favourite in his discography.
