Jul 20, 2015 Yeah, I caught it this afternoon. Been pretty much out of the loop since Mania bar a few RAW's here and there. My mates were talking about a return so that was enough to get me to watch the PPV. WWE classes Summerslam as their second biggest show, so a Brock vs Taker 2 match would help the PPV a lot. I've always had a feeling that the loss was a ploy, and that somehow WWE will have them compete again at Mania and a stipulation gets added that can remove Takers loss.
Jul 20, 2015 That's a little far fetch'd, even for Vince. Even though Undertaker is Vince's pride and joy, he saw that it was time to pull the switch. The reason Taker is back is because Raw has hit astronomically low in the ratings department the past month, that coinciding with building up to the second largest PPV. As far as the actual logic of it, it wouldn't work. Brock beat Taker fair and square. This also makes no sense in the context of the story because Taker comes off as a massive jerk interfering with that match last night, and Brock was also babyface the past month. I don't know, none of it really makes sense, it just screams ratings. Vince tends to freakout over stuff like that and considering Cena was already in a storyline, he did what he thought was best. Undertaker could barely hold Brock up for two Tombstones. His legs were buckling on the second one. How the mighty have fallen.
Jul 20, 2015 Undertaker doesn't have the necessary physique anymore, too old and too beat from the 20+ years of being in wrestling. His name is the only reason he gets brought back. I'm sure Taker knows his limits because he's not doing insane s--- anymore. The WWE fans have enough logic to see it but give him support out of respect
