Can't believe the s---'s starting already, it's not even 230 pm here lol.

Probably not gonna really watch till the regular show at 4, but might turn it on in a bit anyways as I do stuff around the house, try to catch some of it. Gonna watch most of the main card though.

During his recent podcast, Chris Jericho revealed a match that he pitched for Summerslam:

”I got a scoop for you guys … I gotta be careful, though. … I placed a call to a certain head of a certain wrestling company, let’s just leave it at that, and said ‘I have got something for ya. It’s boffo box office, it’s big time.’ I said ‘what do you think about first time ever Intercontinental champion vs. Intercontinental champion, Jericho vs. Rollins.’ ‘What’s the finish?’ ‘Doesn’t matter.’ … The finish doesn’t matter. It’s getting people to buy it and get into it. IC title, New Japan vs. WWE, and you could make this happen. And there was some ‘well, you’d have to do it on TV.’ No, you would not. You wouldn’t have to do anything. I would show up the Monday night before SummerSlam, which has passed already, so you know that’s not going to happen. Because we get home… I literally could have, I checked, trust me, and the show is like in Greenville, South Carolina, or something. I could have been there at 4 pm, I could have run through the crowd, attacked Seth Rollins, made the challenge, made the match, Jericho vs. Rollins, IC title vs. IC title. I pitched it, got a decent response, and never heard another word again.”

”Not saying that it was Vince or anybody else but there was a very high level executive.”

Ended up caving in and getting this event since I’ll be bored this evening. It’ll give me a reason to pop a few Benny’s and chill out. Curious to see what Heyman does and d--- Jericho vs Rollins would have been a classic.

Any chance Owens somehow beats Braun with assistance maybe? Ownes was in interesting champ at least during his run.

Yeah I heard that...pretty ballsy by Jericho lol Having that match only benefits NJPW, by getting exposure for their Title and their company on WWE TV ...Why would Vince say yes to that lol

I think KO has a decent shot to win that match, it certainly would be by cheating or something of that nature but regardless he's got a shot. I'd love for him to win MITB, I think it'd make it even more likely that there's a cash in tonight. Braun is okay but like you sort of mentioned before, i just don't think he can cut long promos on a regular basis and remain interesting, which you need to do as champ..so I'd rather see KO be the champ again.

Tonight is huge for the future, KO, Braun, Brock or Roman could all be champ before the night is over...None of the 4 are impossible or even too unlikely imo. Real curious to see which direction they go in.

Glad you got the network man, obviously there's gonna be some bs but hopefully it's a fun show overall.

Pretty good match between the Cruiserweights. Wasn't a fan of the finish, but otherwise it was good. I'd probably give it a 3.75

Yeah me too, the more I think about it the more I want KO to win. I feel they’re planning something mind twisting. I’ll be pissed if it’s just Braun crushing Owens all match then Roman wins. I’ll be cancelling my subscription again if that’s the outcome.

Wwe f----- up not brining Jericho to summerslam man Vince has a huge ego and a true dickhead.

Gonna be hilarious if they do Roman/Brock for the 4th time and Brock dominates and wins again, then Braun tries to cash in and Brock destroys him too. Then Brock disappears till survivor series lmao, people would be so pissed.

Honestly though I'd strongly prefer what I listed above over Roman winning and him having a title reign. I'd be fine with what happens above if KO cashes in and wins(or even Braun..I guess)
