Mar 30, 2015 I haven't watched WWE for like 12 years or so but I went out tonight to watch it with 2 of my mates that watch it every week and I f---ing loved it. The nostalgia I got when Triple H (my favourite wrestler as a kid) and The Undertaker's theme music came on, also when The Rock came out was pretty funny too. Tonight might have convinced me to start watching week in week out again now.
Mar 30, 2015 Wow, this sting vs HHH match is very entertaining. Actually a little surprised they had HHH win. I don't remember team dx or nwo much but that was pretty cool. Hbk stole the match. The nwo looked like a bunch of gramps though lol Holy did Nash get old.
Mar 30, 2015 It was an all around great Mania, they really surprised me. Can't wait for Rollins promo to (hopefully) kick off raw tomorrow night, gonna be great. He deserves the championship right now. Brock/Seth at extreme rules hopefully?
Mar 30, 2015 Glad you enjoyed it, were you happy HHH and Taker won then since they used to be a couple of your favorites? Gotta warn you that some of the raws are pretty bad at times lol, but tomorrow night's raw should be awesome. The crowd the night after Mania is always crazy so it'll be a fun show. But after that, who knows. WWE has a lot of bad raws. But tomorrow's like the 1st day of a new year for them, so we'll likely see some debuts and new stories. Raw should be great tomorrow, can't wait.
Mar 30, 2015 Btw, what wcw vs wwf ppv was the best back in the day? Now that I have the network I'm going to watch what all the hype about what the Monday nigh war was about. Lmk some of the best wrestling ppv's too. I can't believe I'm somewhat excited about wrestling again lol feel like a little kid. After work tomorrow I'll watch a few ppv's.
Mar 30, 2015 Not sure what you mean by wwf vs. wcw PPVs, they didn't really have PPVs against each other. There was a WWF invasion PPV where it was wcw/ecw vs. wwf though. There's also a special on the Monday night wars if you were looking for that, or tons of PPVs from WWF and WCW around that time. I'm gonna do some exploring too now that I have it. Apparently there's a ton of material already on there, I haven't looked yet though.
Mar 30, 2015 I hope HHH vs Rollins next ppv. Then HHH vs Brock at summer slam. However, you would think they will have Rollins keep the title for a little while right? I mean, idk I agree with him winning the title tonight. He did just lose to Orton, so does that make Orton the number one contender? But do we really want Orton as the champion going into summer slam? Also ik TNA isn't big here, but the other night I was bored and read the info was Bobby Lashley vs Kurt Angle for the title. The match was EXCELLENT. Check it out wrestling fans.
Mar 30, 2015 I could see an Orton/Brock feud but imo it doesn't need to be for the title. Although you'd think Brock has a rematch clause and will use it at the next PPV. Hard to believe he loses clean to Rollins 1 on 1, maybe Orton costs him the match and sets up a feud between those 2 for later. Orton/Brock would be a good feud for Summerslam. I don't think they'll do HHH/Rollins just cuz they're both heels. Then again I guess Brock's technically a heel but he gets a lot of fans cheering him too. If they're worried about 2 heels facing maybe they'll add Reigns although s--- I really hope not. Watching some of the Mania replay now. @Balzter , your thoughts on the show?
Mar 30, 2015 Stone Cold was one of my favorite wrestlers and 99 was a big year for him so I randomly chose the summer slam 1999 to watch. But @Kon I highly doubt they make Brock lose or champion right away. They don't want to make him look weak losing to Rollins. The only wrestler i would be ok with Brock losing is against HHH or Orton at the moment. Rollins winning really shakes things up. Let's not forget Cena beat Rusev tonight so it's only time before seeing Cena in every main event again lol I think we need one more Rusev vs Cena match to win the tie braker between the 2. Who are people predicting will be in the next ppv match. I think a Reigns vs Rollins match for the title would be lame and probably wouldn't even watch the main event. Maybe if they make it into a triple threat it would be ok. Idk what it is but I'm feeling a full HHH championship run this year. Especially after beating sting.
Mar 30, 2015 @tm87 I was at that PPV in 1999, good choice. Although it probably wasn't one of the best summerslams, it was still good. I'll say Rollins/Brock/Reigns/Orton at the next PPV, somehow they'll make it a fatal 4 way lol.
Mar 30, 2015 I already quit watching it lol. Got bored with it. I wish you could just select the main event on the ppv's. Watching the survivor series 2001 now. The tag team matches back then >>>>>>>>>>>> I'll be sleeping soon so I'll have to watch some matches on the network tomorrow leading up to raw. Should be a great Monday after work.
Mar 30, 2015 Just finished Mania. So much better than I expected it to be. Marked the f--- out for Rollins at the end. Had no idea the briefcase worked like that, lol. Sting and Taker both looked great out there. Especially Taker who looked to be in way better shape than last year. He can still go in the ring. Really hope Sting/Taker happens at WM32. If I had to complain, it's that all of the matches felt really, really short. And I was disappointed Cena won.
Mar 30, 2015 It seemed to me.. that the Brock/Reigns match was a "s---t match".. a lot of stiff hits in there. Regardless, Roman got his a--- kicked, and it was beautiful.
