    Seems like the people around him are tired of his pushbacks and want him to stick to a date. The hype doesn't feel the same right now, but I just hope it will be way better than Donda.

    Donda has too much songs, much of them easy to play and forget. I think it would be better with shorter playlist like Jesus is King have, but with songs like Off the Grid, Heaven and h---, Praise God... that stick and you have repetitive quality.
    So I hope Donda 2 will have more of those types of songs at least, and not be filled with to much others...

    I think it's more likely that Donda 2 is way more bloated than the first.

    I like religion themes in his songs as long as the song itself sticks... I don't even consider them to be as religion packed as they may sound, more like spiritual and motivational, in some parts even philosophical, depends on the song.
    At the end, he is not forcing anything, and he kinda retains his authenticity this way.
    Like someone said, I just don't wanna something bloated as Donda, it should be quality over quantity this time.

    I feel like Eazy was a breath of fresh air and like hearing the old Kanye again. It felt good.

    I also like some songs from Donda though, I don't hate the whole project. JIK... never enjoyed tbh.

    Yeah, Moon, Hurricane, Heaven and h---, Remote Control, and Off The Grid (minus Playboi Cartis trash-a--- verse and adlibs) were all great imo

    The rest was dogshit

    I’ll check those songs out, only one I liked after 2 listens was Off The Grid but like you say Carti is garbage. Stops me listening to it tbh lol

    Heaven and h--- is a really dope song, I would say one of the his best since he took this musical path...
    I think it has everything on point... Interpolation with "Heaven and h--- is on Earth" compliments the song, song itself is metaphorically rich, he retains both self centered storytelling and he sends a motivational message to everyone else with no so hard religious narrative. And at the end, he summons it's all about music and it's power to move people...
    And even if you are not into lyrical meanings of the song it's still catchy and have repetitive quality which is often enough.

    So I think that's the recipe which he should hold onto for new songs... But even if he make 20 songs for Donda 2 I guess 4 or 5 should be good. We'll see... I've read somewhere that someone from his team said they did acknowledge what public liked from Donda and they will use that as a guide, but somehow I don't see Kanye much creating songs purely based on listener's feedback.

    If it was some another date I wouldn't believe it... But 2.22.22 sounds way to good to be missed for Donda 2...
