I think that Daytona is legitimately a perfect album. Great beats, Pusha's lyrics are on point as usual. All killer no filler.

Absolute classic. Been a few years since I listened to W2D so that might be coming soon.

    30. Armand Hammer & The Alchemist - Haram (2021) [March 6th, 2025]
[Not sure if the regular cover could get flagged, so I used the Alc Edition version. I really like the default cover though]

"Negroes s---t for the top, I always had poor posture"
Been meaning to check this record out for years. As expected, Alc's beats are f---ing stellar. Wanna give special highlights to "Chicharonnes" and "Scaffolds". This is my first Armand Hammer/billy woods/Elucid (i'm not spacing it out) project, and i liked their work a lot. I think I prefer Elucid's voice more than billy's, but billy's verses had better lyrics imo. Def gonna be relistening to this soon. Downloaded WBDTS so I might check that out soon.

    31. GOOD Music - Cruel Summer (2012) [March 6th, 2025]

Decided to play this on a whim during cardio (relisten btw). It's weird cause like the first 5 songs are very good, very energetic. And then... the next 5 songs range from ok to awful. Like "Sin City" is f---ing GARBAGE, by far the worst Travis Scott songs I can think of. The last 2 are pretty good tho, especially the closer. Overall, its fine, but not anything too special. At least it's bette than that godawful Shady XV comp

Tied with Ambient 4 for being my favorite Eno album so far, Apollo is amazing. "Silver Morning" is absolutely incredible

Amazing record for the gym dear god. I honestly might prefer it to WCBS. Kinda weird to hear Scarface still be known as "Akshen" on this record though.

    35. The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025) [March 8th, 2025]

First time listening since it came out. I did check out the First Pressing version as well. Good record, although I feel that it's a tad too long. It's weird cause I feel that the first pressing is too short, and the release version is too long. I guess something in between would've been a bit better. Even though this is barely a few weeks old, I still have to say that I prefer AH and Dawn FM over it. Then again, I have had years to revisit those records so that might be a factor.

Relisten, and I still think this is a pretty good record, although I don't enjoy it as much as Dummy. I probably would rank it over their self titled though. Lots of great tracks, but "Machine Gun" takes the cake for me. Such a simple drumbeat, but it never gets old. f---ing stellar track. No wonder it's sampled so much.

Haven't listened to this one in years. It's.... eh. Some great tracks here like "a lot" and "ball w/o you", but nothing too special imo.

    38. James Blake - James Blake (2011) [March 8th, 2025]

I got this album recommended to me YEARS ago, on the original leakth.is forum. Finally checked it out and... it's good. James clearly has a great voice, although I wasn't a big fan of some of the vocal effects.

What can I really say about Transformer. Great record, stellar tracks, an I own it on vinyl. Might add a song or two for my AOTW cub mix

Yet another Eno record. I like it, but I do have to say that I wasn't as enthralled as I was by Apollo and Ambient 4.

    41. Baby Keem - The Melodic Blue (2021) [March 9th, 2025]

First time listening to this it came out. It's fine. I'm not the biggest Keem fan I admit. The strongest tracks for me were usually carried by the features ("family ties", "durag activity, "vent"). Keem himself really just doesn't do much for me sadly. He did have the verse on Praise God tho...

Very pretty album. I do not listen to James Blake that much but some of the tracks on here are very interesting in how they achieve this complex yet intimate atmosphere through their simplicity. It’s formidable how something so stripped down can sound so grand. I wish the record was more consistent.

I never learn to share and Unluck are some standouts for me.

Pretty good album. Very tense. Although I do prefer Zeit, that album was much darker and I liked it a tad more
