Jan 2, 2016 LR is his best album , lyrically , flow wise, beats are perfect for him , great guests and consistent af, so many classic tracks can any of you tell me why they think yeezus is his best? with arguments not just s--- posting horrible lyrics, subpar flow, good production for half of album, cringe features
Jan 3, 2016 I will never forget first listening to Yeezus. The production, the passionate delivery, I was hooked from first listen and still revisit the album at least weekly. It's no better or worse than CD, LR, 808s or MBDTF though. All different, fantastic albums. Graduation is the only Kanye album I'd rate lower than a 9. Probably I'd say Yeezus = MBDTF = 808s = CD > LR > Graduation
Jan 3, 2016 I don't think the lyrics are horrible, but they serve their purpose as Kanye's energy and flow more than make up for that fault. And I thought the production was great throughout, but my tastes shift more into experimental territory anyways. And all the features fit very well on the album imo. Also I like the short length as it perfectly fits the style he was going for on this album without having to stretch it out unnecessarily.
Jan 3, 2016 Always remember the first time I heard Yeezus, I was in the bed of a truck with my back against a big a--- tv to make sure it didn't fall driving back to my house, had my iPod with me that I put Yeezus on before I left. Great first listen
Jan 3, 2016 What an amazing album... Productions are incredibly inspiring... The end of Hold my Liquor is my favorite music "outro" of all time d---
Jan 3, 2016 Somebody do an elimination game on College Dropout and LR, and then we gonna see which album is the best by comparing their best songs
Jan 4, 2016 Like I said, it was filled with energy though. He actually sounded like he gave a s--- throughout all of the songs.
Jan 4, 2016 Maybe it's just the production. It's cool for a few songs but not something I wanna hear him on for 10 tracks. It's the least Kanye album of all time if that makes sense. Fair, but I'd take any Graduation song over anything on Yeezus.
Jan 4, 2016 That's funny i feel like Grad is the least Kanye album and the only one that comes near "selling out"
