Apr 15, 2015 I'm not mad at anyone.. I've just seen some posts from people on here sayin s--- like that.. I just started posting to this site.. Idk anything about solo unless he's one of the people who have been sayin that
Apr 15, 2015 People on this forum don't seem to have a clue what a classic is... To be clear this is a great album. But a classic?? Stop it. GKMC is the only classic I've heard since the early 2000's
Apr 15, 2015 A classic is what you believe is a classic! Your own opinion is worth more to you than mine!
Apr 15, 2015 It won't be a classic because people refuse to give yelawolf a chance.. To me this has the potential to me a classic for me.. I won't know until a few years from now if I'm still playing this album with the same feeling.. Right now I absolutely love the album.. Only time will tell if this album will be a classic for me
Apr 15, 2015 No sir, classic has a definition. One that yelas album does not meet. It's not opinion it's fact. If this album doesn't stand the test of time while making a significant influence on the game it's not a classic.
Apr 15, 2015 .... That awkward moment when you don't know what a classic is. Again for the most part it's not really an opinionated topic it either is or isn't. You can stake your case either way for some albums but by the definition of a classic, explain to me how this is one?
Apr 15, 2015 If the world won't know about it, how can it be a CLASSIC??? d--- this word is employed way to much, learn the definition
Apr 15, 2015 Too early to call it a classic TPAB was a completely different album on a multitude of levels. TPAB was the most-hyped album since either "Black Album" or "2001." You could intangibly *immediately* tell TPAB was an instant classic, whereas "Love Story" has a completely "different" sound even for YelaStans. No one aside from YelaStans were anticipating "Love Story." Everyone else who's posted in this thread, isn't considering the fact "Til Its Gone" is hands-down considered Yela's "breakout" hit (idk about where you all live, but it gets regular play on like 5-6 different radio stations in Detroit)... Virtually everyone I know who heard "Shady XV" told me on their own accord "TIG" was their favorite song on XV. "American You" is also very radio-friendly: keep in mind it's only been out for 10 days or so... They just finished filming video for "Best Friend" w/Eminem... Eminem = fans = publicly perceived "respect" I do think this album is going to get Yelawolf the recognition he deserves. Most of the YelaStans in this thread are being too dramatic with a YelaVsEverybody attitude (somewhat understandably so) #InOtherRandomSLAYAR chehachehahceahhcehacheah
Apr 15, 2015 Been 3 years, it's still widely regarded as the best rap album of this generation. It brought at whole camp of rappers to the casual fans, and led to others attempting similar blueprints for success. Don't understand how people can't see the difference
