    Just got the album here in UK, 2/3 through.

    Just seems a bit unambitious compared to Love Story

    Last few tracks to go but not many standouts so far..

    it really sounds like he went in another direction after love story, he still sounds country of course but hotel and trial by fire sound much different than anything else hes ever put out, this almost sounds like the most experimental hes ever been

    and just for the record, hotel and trial by fire > love story, trunk muzik etc

    I actually like it more on my second listen than on my first listen, that's new.

    Son of a gun is really good. Album is not on Love Story's level though. Like I said last night, still too many features. Besides that, is it just me or is the album too short? Love Story was a bit long but this..

    14 songs minus the intro, the interlude and Sabrina is 11. Of those 11 we already heard 5 months ago so that's only 6 new songs in my opinion. Too much time between Daylight release and the album release.

    I will still be listening to this a lot. Basically all songs are enjoyable imo

    Love Story is better but this is still a dope project. From Radioactive to now im proud of Yela growing into his own and becoming one of the most potent mcs in the game

    Trial By Fire met my expectations and blew me away. Album is very solid. This is exactly what I wanted to hear from him. His storytelling is Fantastic!!! He doesn't try to put music out that is fake to make money like all the mainstream rappers. He speaks from the heart and sings and raps about stuff that impacted him growing up. I wish I wouldn't have heard all the singles, because I overplayed them. I've only listened to the album twice, but this will be on my daily listening for a long time. I give it 5 stars!!!

    Solid project but I have to be honest here: I liked Love Story MUCH more on the first two listens. But like I said, it's still solid.

    Ok I know I'm going to get hate but I'm not feeling this album as much as Love Story and some of his other. Daylight is still the best track. Get mine is good as well. Son of a gun is excellent but it's missing more energized production that I love from Yelawolf. Lyrics are on point but idk it's ehhh
