Oct 17, 2017 I just listened to HOTEL again now. In my opinion, it was almost wasted as a free mixtape, it really is great. Based on my interpretation of Trial By Fire, I think he added "Punk", "Get Mine" etc since then (I could be incredibly wrong). I feel like 'Love Story' is going to outshine 'Trial By Fire', and one can simply make that judgement just by comparing the current TBF singles to LS as a whole. LS had a great sound to it, and I think TBF is going to push too hard in the wrong direction (wrong in terms of my preference, but that could be right for the masses). Anyway, lots to look forward too, but just a bit disappointed in what I believe TBF will offer. OH and not to be an Eminem fanboy, but if you look at who produced and contributed to (IMO) the best songs on LS and even Radioactive, they all involved Eminem. You know, Yela's hook on Psychopathic Killer was awesome!
Oct 17, 2017 I agree with that, LS is million times better than what we have heard on this project so far, I hope to be wrong but I'm guessing nothing's gonna be better than what's already out & with no Em feature it's gonna be hard to do big numbers.

Oct 17, 2017 All the singles off TBF are already better than American You, Whiskey In A Bottle and Box Chevy V. You guys are seriously jumping to conclusions far too quickly based on what you’ve heard, and what you’ve heard is incredible, just not akin to your tastes. Any hardcore Yelawolf fan loves this s---. This is an album for his core base, he’s not compromising in the slightest.
Oct 17, 2017 I think these two albums, if you’ll excuse the comparison, will be like Nirvana’s Nevermind vs In Utero debate. Any casual Nirvana fan will say Nevermind is better, but with most seasoned Nirvana fan, the conversation gets a lot more complex. Most hardcore fans will say In Utero, some will say Bleach etc etc. because Nevermind is extremely polished album by their standards, and the other records are much more unfiltered. Point being, a lot of hardcore Yelawolf fans don’t even consider Love Story to be his best work, I personally think it’s Trunk Muzik Returns, and then Stereo, and then Love Story. I’ve loved everything I’ve heard from Trial By Fire and it’s really gearing up to be his best album because everything I’ve heard is raw, unfiltered, a true culmination of his work as an artist. It’s already much grittier than Love Story and I love it.

Because I have a great expectation for Trial By Fire to be better, it will be difficult to overcome some singles. but in a matter of musical genre and melody distribution Yelawolf knows well how to handle this question, an example of this is HOTEL.
