There are things only certain people will be able to experience, generational things like Woodstock. Imagine being able to attend every relevant major social event in the modern world and beyond. I would be an ominous figure in greek mythology and my violent heinous acts would be told over and over again around the ancient campfires across the world. Eventually, people would find out i'm immortal and begin to worship me as their messiah. Fast forward to 2015 and i'm ruling the entire f---ing world, dominating everything because i can. Fast forward another 1,000 years and i'm the intergalactic opium baron of our star sector, f---ing prime alien b------s and burning that andromeda kush.

The dichotomy between immortality and mortality is based on the presupposition that 1) death is, in fact, an ending and that 2) we understand what this experience we call "life" even is (which we don't). The true nature of our existence transcends any conception of mortality and immortality, it is literally incomprehensible, ineffable, and unspeakable.
Jun 19, 2015 yea i would.. i'd rather it be that way, so i can see mankind evolve myself.. rather than get immortality NOW and have to live another 3000 and see the world get nuked eventually you would catch on to how the politics of the different time periods work and could go around influencing things "heroes" style
