    I'm an extremely liberal gay guy ffs, and I'm not even trying to justify my own usage of the word (which for all intents and purposes is non-existent and likely always will be).

    There's a genuine hypocrisy involved with all of this, and people like you are part of the reason it still remains such an offensive word, when relevant points about it can't even be discussed without you crying foul over it.

    i get what ur saying and 16 y/o me wouldve agreed with you but what point are you trying to make? that we should "take the power out of" the word or something? its just not your place to do that i understand how ridiculous it seems but man just let them have the word its such a minor respect thing

    equating n----- to words like gay, r----- and autistic is an autistic false equivalency though

    I cringe every time a white guy uses the word n----- like a black man would use it (like calling a friend "n-----", conversations about the word like this is fine to use it). It's corny af like there is absolutely no need except to try and be like a black dude. Just let them have the word it's obviously an important issue for them.

    r----- and autistic perhaps, but I think "fa----" is on a similar level as in it's a derogatory term to refer to a group of people who've always been discriminated against
