    is state/federal law still seperating the legality of it? few yrs back i watched a doco that some weed smokers with medical cards were scared because it was still illegal on a federal level they were worried they'd get raided by FBI or swat, some s---.

    There's about 10 states where you can smoke weed legally (funnily enough it's legal in washington DC aka the capital of the f---ing country lol), but yeah, it's still illegal on the federal level.

    oh wow, are they like the 10 most popular/biggest states? honestly thought it was a lot more/seems like the general consensus in america is "everyone does the weeds" 10/50 states doesn't seem to reflect that though

    It's honestly not even all of the biggest states -- Maine has one of the smallest populations and it's legal there. Alaska's huge but barely has any people and it's legal there, while Texas is huge and has tons of people and it's 100% illegal. Also like 20 more states have it legalized medically, but you can't just buy it in a store or anything in those states.

    Actually THC pills are accessible, cbd oil as well. Also many cities are starting to decriminalize it. In Harris County (the biggest county in Texas and where most of Houston is) 4 oz or less has been decriminalized. If you are caught you only have to take an anti-drug class online. No fine or court appearance and it won't even go on your record. And in Austin it is practically legal, cops never enforce s--- there.

    Not as progressive as your state, but Texas is loosening up more than people think.

    Didn't know that! I was going off the map that I posted above, my bad I probably should have researched it better.

    Yeah Austin is pretty much like the pacific northwest of texas, I have friends who live there so I go once or twice a year.

    Lol you're good fam. Most Texas residents don't even know this s---. And I've noticed for some reason that maps like that don't take minor legalization like that into effect.

    Well, my friends only moved there two years ago, so I only started going in 2016 lol. But I've been in...March, June, and August, I think. I like it a lot there, I have to tell people in WA that Texas isn't just a bunch of racist hicks all the time. The rural parts of eastern WA are just as racist as that of Texas honestly.
