Apr 16, 2015 The thing that I am trying to say is that those critics you quoted are not taking seriously those mixtapes, that's it. When they listen to those mixtapes they don't judge them with the same standards as, let's say, GKMC. They just think is "pretty funny" and "bumps in the whip". A "serious" Hip Hop record with 4 starts on some site and Tha Tour Pt.1 with 4 starts too in the same site are completely different ratings. I think this project got for the most part "decent" beats and surprising collabs but that's it. Maybe it can work on a party or something but I wouldn't listen to this daily by any means.

Apr 16, 2015 but this isnt how you critique music. everything has its own context. something isnt inherently better because it touches on different content, or content you consider "deeper" or "better" than thug's. its about the final product. and yeah, at 20 tracks with only about 3 or 4 fillers rich g--- tha tour pt 1 has every right to be ranked as highly as GKMC. stop being so close minded

They just think it's a great "party" mixtape, but I highly doubt Thugger can do anything like, well, any post Kendrick Lamar EP project ever. They can't be compared because objectivily Thugger is on a completely different lane. I don't have a problem of you guys liking Young Thug, I can see his appeal. My problem is seeing how they are overrating him so much.

ANY genre, subgenre, style, whatever. Its about the final product. You dont f---ing look at something and be like 8/10...for a party album that is...once you're past a certain age
