Aug 16, 2016 I used to say he had some of the best technical rhyming of all time... using an accent to manipulate and bend words in a way that hadn't been done before with flows that are amazing... but tbh it's nostalgia. Relapse was the first time I really sat and listened to Eminem... I was pretty new to music at the time I guess. First album I torrented too... I remember thinking it was complete trash until a few years ago. Plus it's the album with Beautiful on it... instant 10/10 just to hear Eminem lyrics before his inevitable change as a rapper. I think that song really stands out. Far more than his fake attempt with Not Afraid I realize we won't be getting profound music from him anymore... so I just like to hear Eminem rap now. All I Think About is the best song he's released in a while and it reminds me of Relapse Eminem without the accent. This is the most I've talked about Eminem in months... I'm gonna go take a shower now.
Aug 16, 2016 ya, dont get me wrong tho its still a great album its the most accessible album tho, and most newer listeners that havent really delved into g--- starrs discog tend to favor it over the others. id put in 3rd place under Daily Operation & Step In The Arena as far as their discog goes but for reference, id give my least favorite of their albums an 8/10

Aug 16, 2016 Always struggle to make these kinds of lists, but here are some albums off the top of my head that I constantly listen to: Illmatic Life Is Good Slim Shady LP My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Good Kid Mad City Death Is Certain Prhyme Run The Jewels 2 Kickin' & Screamin' Love Story (honestly. I really like it) I listen to a lot of other artists, but I tend to just put the albums of theirs I have on shuffle.
