TLOP- I know I'm in the minority here, but I think this was a great project and the only reason it got hate was for being disjointed and not what we expected, and with Kanye's recent mental issues coming to light I think it's only appropriate that the album that represents that time in his life is a jumbled hodge-podge of splintered ideas that still manages to push the envelope and sound great. 2. Jeffery- Young Thug continuing to cement himself as one of rap's greatest and most progressive artists OAT. 3. Atrocity Exhibition- amazing and ambitious project, deserves the kind of praise fanboys gave TPAB and AML 4. Imperial- great tape, Denzel consistently amazes 5. Savage Mode- amazing in the exact opposite way Denzel Curry's tape was, atmospheric and brooding where Zel is loud and lush. HM to Warlord, Coloring Book, Persona Tape, LUV vs The World. Wanted to include some 2 Chainz/Future/Gucci but their success is more spread across a handful of projects instead of focused into one singular project worthy of praise.
Dec 17, 2016 I'm sure there's like a dozen great projects I'm forgetting in addition to LBP. Next year ima start keeping my favorites written down so I have a legit list. I'd honestly forgotten TLOP and UziVsTW came out this year lol. But yeah it def deserves an HM.
