Overall this is an average song with a good video. One question I ask myself is "If this didn't drop as a single with that video, and instead dropped as part of a surprise album with a bunch of other new songs, would this really stand out to me as a good song?" The answer is no.

It comes across as lazy and is something that wouldn't hold up without the nostalgic references. It still lacks the sharpness and wit of the very era he is striving to replicate. I see people saying "the hook is stuck in my head!". Yeah thats because you've most likely heard it before at some point in your life. Abracadabra is played on hella 80s radio stations every day.

The sample doesn't really do anything or go anywhere. The beat is generic. It sounds dated and too repetitive. One positive thing I will say is the flow he is using is definitely a step in the right direction.

The video is good too. Another thing is the 99 voice adlibs and intro, clearly this wont be the only time we here that old shady voice on this new album, on this one song. So that could be interesting.

overall ill give it a 5/10. This definitely wont be in the top 3 songs on the album which is a good sign I guess.

It's a single. It is serving it's purpose as a fun single to get people excited about the album. Don't overthink it. Most singles don't fit in with albums...Stop overthinking this.
