How would you guys rank the potential MVP recipients this series, and who is your prediction to win the honour.

    My list:
    1. LeBron James
    2. Draymond Green
    3. Kyrie Irving
    4. Steph Curry

Recipient: Draymond Green (GSW wins in 6 or 7)

Just like you have it. Klay would be 5th. I think Steph will get it if GS wins though.

i hope not, he averaged 16 points in the first 3 games as a scorer. draymond has been pivotal in every win.

hope they give it to the deserving player.

I mean if we're talking most valuable obviously that's Bron. But if you don't give it to him last year then no way he gets it this year. Idk who votes but I'm sure Dray's rep a nut cracker won't help his case.

The interesting part about finals MVP if the Warriors end up winning the series is it really could still be any of 3 players, Draymond, Klay or Curry. If any one of them has a huge game tonight, that could be enough to do it. The only one I'm not sure about is Klay, even if he has a huge night I'm not positive he'll get it. For whatever reason, he usually never ends up getting much credit even though he's great offensively and defensively.

If the Warriors win this game it'll likely come down to who has the bigger game tonight, Green or Curry. Both could very well get MVP, and I'd still give Klay a small shot especially if he goes off tonight. If Green and Curry both have big games tonight, say Curry has 30 and Green has 15, 10 and 10 or something (throw in a few blocks/steals too), then I think they'd lean towards Curry just cuz he's the bigger name and maybe cuz Green missed a game also.

They should just give it to the GM for putting all these guys together.

How do you have Draymond and Steph ahead of Klay? If GSW had won in 5, it would have been Klay in a runaway, and unless one of the other two has a massive game to close out tonight, they won't come close to him in the voting.

I think Klay could potentially win if he has a big game 6 & 7. He put the clamps on Kyrie save for Monday, and went off in games 4 & 5.

Klay's averages aren't really THAT impressive on the surface, I think that could hurt his case. 20-3-2, but his defense has been great.

If GS wins it'll go to whoever plays best tonight & in a potential game 7 between Steph-Klay-Draymond.

I can see the argument for Thompson ahead of Curry, but they've had a very similar finals imo. 2 bad games, 2 average/expected games, and one monster game. The difference is, Curry's monster game lead to a W. Granted, Thompson is an excellent defender, and more of an impactful player than Curry even when he's not scoring, so I can agree with you there.

But as far as Draymond Green is concerned, I can't see a more pivotal player on that roster if for no other reason other than the fact that he anchors that d. He's been a heart and soul player all series. His play this series reminds me of Iguodala from last year.

I'll be chapped if Steph wins it tho. He's only showed up twice by my count this series, and taken over the game once.

As of right now, it should be

    1. Draymond (His defense has been incredible, and he's been good enough on offense that he deserves it. - similar to Iggy getting it last year)
    2. LeBron (only if they win the series, he's the obvious choice so far)
    3. Klay (hasn't been up to par on the defensive end, but he's been their most consistent scorer)
    4. Kyrie (Outplayed Curry so far tbh)
    5. Curry (If he has a huge game tonight and they win it all)

Draymond is the clear MVP. Without him GS is an average team. Without steph they still thrive

I hate Draymond but I'd say gim then non make a case for iggy before klay then steph

Kyrie then bron on cavs side

When's the last time we as fans have questioned this and not been really sure?
Last years we were somewhat up in the air too but I think alot of us wanted iggy and it happened

I'd actually have Kyrie above LeBron for the Cavs. And for Golden State it would be Green or Klay.
