I would like to ask you why do you like tetsuo so much? Is it because it's an album which tells some story and you can play it backwards? I agree there are pretty cool songs like prisoner 1&2 or madonna but the rest is overblown piece of s---.

Let's take a closer look at Mural, for instance. He touches on a lot of different topics, but is any of you able to say what this song is about in one sentence? I would personally say this song is pretty much about nothing. It's just a demonstration of lupe's idiotic attitude. He wants to prove he is a lyrical genius who can implement the most complicated stories and the most acrobatic rhyme schemes into one song. This way of thinking is kinda similar to Eminem's who is obsessed with technical aspects of his rapping. It's neither something outstanding nor spectacular. Music is way much more than that imo.

Discover new lyrical gems every listen, mixes bangers like Deliver with social s---, and I f---ing love rappers like him and Ab Soul who can touch on conscious subjects without being overly serious. This album was a work of art tbh and if lupe hadn't become a joke thru lasers people would be giving this the attention TPAB got

I agree, Lupe was trying to do things like touch in a lot of different subject matters on just one song with forced and uninspired metaphors and using a repetitive flow and the s--- didn't work at all. He is not even as raw as he was in his prime, the amount of wordplay here is pretty poor.

The album was also really overproduced and the features were pretty boring except ofc Ab Soul.

People saying this s--- is on par with The Cool are delirious.

of course i realize i do it. i think i post very thoughtfully on things where there are arguments to be made. i don't think there are really any redeeming qualities to tetsuo & youth, so i'm not going to waste time putting an extensive, reasoned argument on here.
