    While watching SOA anime with Deadpool, Ordinary Joel and Threee this question came up.

    For all you anime watchers out there do you have a particular genre that you favour over others, if so, which one?

    And fan servicing? What are your thoughts on it?

    I don't really have a preference for genre as I cycle through a lot of different animes and it would really limit what I watched. But if I had to choose I'd probably go with horror / psychological. I generally enjoy the story lines and sometimes I feel I need a break from samurai/ school / fantasy, and psychological is great for that.

    I dont have anything against fan service. I feel it's a given with most shows and it can be quite funny and can also set up for some nice jokes. Sometimes I may not be in the mood for it but I would never not watch an anime based on the fact there was fan servicing.

    i prefer supernatural stuff that have OP character.

    I love s--- like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Parasyte, Seraph of the end, Fate ect...
    My favourite characters in Anime are Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, Yu, KANEKI :emoji_heart: I got more but they come to mind first

    i prefer animes with power ups but no power creep..so far i think only one peice and hunter x hunter fit the criteria which i love both

    my fav anime is probably code geas

    My favourite anime right now is 'Ore Monogatari'. Very genuine without being clichéd.

    I honestly like everything but mech (robot suits). Slice of life is usually great since it's just everyday type stuff that's funny.

    Stuff like Naruto and SAO is cool too.

    I don't mind fan service as long as it works with the story. Just showing boobs for no reason is lame.

    Actually at work big guy. I've watched some of code geass and it's not bad, but most mech anime bores me. I've seen a handful of entertaining ones though

    I have a soft spot for shonen
    And i like a good psychological anime and dark ones

    Fan service usually annoys me, feels so out of place and takes me out of the experience....

    I've seen these two animes thrown out as recommendations a fair few times. I downloaded the first ep of Hunter x Hunter after seeing you recommend it beofre but haven't got around to watching it yet.

    He looks like such a happy little guy

    I finished High School DXD the other day and that was pretty much pure fan service. But it was mostly needed for the show.
    Some of the jokes in that were pretty relevant too which was nice.
