Any Interesting Lives Here?

    Either in the past or present. Can just post if you've had an average upbringing/life too. Just interested in which path everyone comes from in life. It's easy to assume everyone is a stereotypical forum user but I doubt it's that simple.

    I'll start but I'll keep it relatively simple. I grew up moving around a lot in care homes as my mother had bipolar and never knew my dad. Dropped out of school early. Lotta s--- happened in between obviously but those are the basics and things that pretty much define my childhood. Then eventually had a phase of feeling depressed/suicidal. Am now off that and everything is just a lot better though.... am striving to turn my families and my failures around. Wanna do something big in life and have a ton of motivation/drive to do so. I know talking about anything too personal is something people don't like to do on here... especially in the SL community but f--- it, lets change that.

    Nearly went to jail for dealing, then turned my life around. Cbf getting into details, but that past life has made me into the poster I am today! :emoji_sunglasses::)

    :mjcry: I can't explain how good it feels to put the guns/drugs down for things like 'posts' and 'likes'. Instead of grinding for money, I'm now grinding for plus member status :lolbron:.

    I grew up in a remote community in Alaska. The conditions were hard even for Alaska standards... There were no cars or grid for electricity, heat and what not. It was just me and my dad for a long time because my mom died when I was one. Hated it there... I felt like I should have been born in a big city and couldn't relate to the Bush people out there so I moved to Seattle when I was 18. Since, then Anchorage Alaska has been my base. I own 4 condos a 4-plex and a house all outright in Anchorage. I have also lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nevada... Caye Caulker, Belize and Toledo, Ohio where my dad and grandparents are from.
    I've been making good money(six figures a year) working construction in all kids of different fields and many different trades and skills since I graduated High School and am a vested member of two different Unions, but will work non union if the wage is exceptionally high. I also bartend and although I have no degree I've wasted some money at a couple of different Universities and colleges.

    Was born and raised in Wales where I spent most of my days generally chilling, out maxing and relaxing all cool and playing Basketball. Unfortunately for me there were a couple of guys who were always up to no good. Trouble would be with them everywhere they went in my neighbourhood. One day they set upon me in an unprovoked attack and I got into a fist fight. My parents got scared, so after I recovered I was sent to live with my aunt and uncle.
