Jan 29, 2017 Quick question, just got the S7 and it doesn't have the usual music player as it's been replaced by Google Play Music. It says something about ads. All I wanna know is if I play my own music through the app will I still get ads or is it only when you use the radio s--- or whatever?

Jan 30, 2017 Poweramp still by far the bestusic player on the store. Well worth the purchase price for full features. Can't remember what the price is now though. Google Play Music is the best streaming app for bitrate quality. But if you rip music from YouTube then you obviously have no respect for your ears so f--- it. Personally I don't use a streaming service, I still do the oldskool way of downloading music and playing it offline.

Jan 30, 2017 Meant to reply to this before been sidetracked at work, I just download s--- on the go all the time like links from here or from YT if I'm desperate. All the YT rips are the unknown artist ones.

Jan 30, 2017 yeah i got close to the same issue but i download all my music on my laptop with no backups and i carry that with me everywhere i go so if something happens to my laptop I am sooo f-----. slowly trying to convert everything to spotify but if you find that the google play music backups are worth it, let me know
Jan 30, 2017 My comp is old and i never updated s--- Either cos i hate the new layouts so my comp is like obsolete now and my iTunes is like 2007. I can't seem to get s--- from my phone on the comp only vice versa so really needa get a new comp
Jan 31, 2017 If you download a load of stuff then a streaming app will prob help you use less data. The files are deeply compressed. If you download a lot then you could potentially save money on your phone bill. Better quality then god awful YouTube rips as well.
