Eminem Are skits useless or effective ?

    Ems albums usually include skits but would the albums such as mmlp or tes be worse off without them

    I enjoy them at times. Other times I find them a waste and we could have another song or two in their place.

    Some of them are enjoyable (The Kiss, PSA, etc.) and some of them are terrible (Men Kaniff (MMLP), Em Calls Paul, etc.)

    I think they generally serve their purpose. However I'd rather them just be added on to the beginning or ending of a track so the slots the skits take up could be songs.

    It's true, brother. I feel like they set the mood for the album and give it that gloss.

    I usually like all of them. But some can get annoying and don't belong. The parking lot skit from mmlp2 was great how it continued the story.

    I hate the soap skit from SSLP but I like funny skits or skits which are a intro to the next song like the kiss skit.

    I like the Relapse skits a lot.
    I remember the time when recovery droped. A lot of people were angry

    It depends really. It can either add to the greatness of an album or do the opposite. Like The Eminem Show's skits are effective but Encore's are just terrible

    I don't like skits at all, but they can be useful I guess

    Btw why is this in the eminem section? This discussion could be about skits in general

    Skits can add a ton to the concepts/personality to a song or album. (Ex. Dr West, A Kiss) these skits are excellent and add to the experience.

    Others that serve no purpose are a waste of time.

    They can be incredibly effective. They can make the album feel like a movie, which is one of my favourite scenarions. Although they can also be pointless and annoying.
