    I've never wanted a tat until recently. Thinking about getting a "Licensed to Ill" cassette tape in memory of my father. He got me into rap and music in general with tapes like that and Raising h--- and Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. He died on Christmas Eve five years ago. Relevant concepts:

    I didn't think I'd ever want any, but I recently found one I wanted. Now my friends are paying for it and forcing me to get it as my christmas gift from them.

    That was my general state of mind until I thought of this one. I mean, I've loved this tape and those memories of blasting it with my dad for years. I still would never get something that I didn't think out very well or sit on for a while. That's how you end up with No Ragrets.

    I used to want tattoos really bad when I was in high school. Typical early 2000s tats like Chinese symbols, crosses, and barb wire around the bicep. Thank god my mom didn't let me do it! I'm 30 now and still tat free and am pretty certain I will never get one at this point. There's nothing I would want on me now that I will still think is cool 10-20 years from now. People tell me to get my kids names tatted on my arm. But then I think how wierd would it look now if my dad (at age 60) had my name (at age 30) tatted in huge letters on his wrist.

    I dont have any tattoos myself, but my parents are tatted up like f---, my mother is currently working on getting a sleeve done.

    I dont think ill ever get a tattoo, id actually prefer to pay an artist to paint/sketch the ideas i have on a canvas.

    I think I could only get one if it was referencing a family member who had passed, something I know I wouldn't regret. Luckily haven't had to get one.

    Several times I've thought of a tattoo idea and then the next day I'm like noooope.

    I have a surprisingly low amount of ink considering I have had accomplished tattoo artists as roommates for a number of years.

    I have a religious full sleeve. Sometimes i second guess getting it but i love it most of the time. the only reason for second guessing it is when i think about a future and a career. I just hope times have changed enough that it shouldnt be a factor anymore.
