Keep seeing Big and Pac mentioned all over the place lately but for me Big L is up there with them as well, better rapper than pac at least and always in my top 10. If you havnt heard him then check it out

Yeah I made a thread for him a month or 2 back, definitely one of my favorite rappers ever.

He's got some great rare stuff too that people should check out.

*edit* Why'd you post the gay version of MVP though? The regular one is such a better fit for the song. Also ebonics is a clever idea but has no replay value imo, I never listen to it and think it's kinda overrated.

Loved his music growing up..definitly a great rapper but I'm not sure I'd compare him to pac or biggie..just doesn't have enough material

His career was just getting started, he would have been huge. Can kinda see how you can say he's overrated based off the internet but in real life hardly anyone knows him, definitely nowhere near overrated.

I mean sure, but look at people he worked with. Cam'Ron and Fat Joe have more than one good album a piece. Nobody is trying to crown them GOAT.

Because h was a better rapper than fat joe and cam and he has two albums, big picture would of come out in 99 if he didnt die it wasnt just a rushed project with leftover recordings

He said he'd put him in his top 10, he didn't say he was the GOAT. He just mentioned Big and Pac since they're dead rappers that get constant praise while L doesn't nearly as often.

I don't really count the second album As an actual album..feels like an unfinished album that was thrown together bc he died. I love L and I agree I think he was amazing and had he been given some time to grow I think he would have been amazing But unfortunately he died very early Into his career

Pac and Big are on another stratosphere than L.

Who do you know? I went to a rural high school with 400 people in it and every guy there was listening to Three 6, Wu-Tang, Big L, etc. Look at his Last.fm page. There's not a sekret club for L fans. Ask any of those people to name another member of Children of the Corn or D.I.T.C.
