Mar 27, 2017 couldn't give a f--- about raids tbh. i've never even been able to play one because of the way they set it all up. which is exactly the kind of s--- that ruined the first one for me. too much is limited by arbitrary setups like the raids. that and the complete and total lack of a story and how repetitive the missions were
Mar 27, 2017 It's really not like that anymore. You can get just as good of gear from pvp. Of course there's going to be prerequisites to doing the high end content, otherwise you could just burn through all the content and skip stuff.
Mar 27, 2017 honestly completely uninterested in pvp i just want to play through the levels and experience all the pve content, but they make it near impossible once you get towards the end of things like raids if you don't have people in your friendslist to play with... because of the entirely arbitrary lack of matchmaking is what i'm saying if they don't change things up on that front and actually let people interact and add each other easier in game and chat or what not or form lobbies or matchmake then i'm ouuuuuuut

Mar 27, 2017 no, trust me, i do want matchmaking. a f--- load of people do, and there's no reason not to have it. if i wanna roll with a bunch of noobs that can't play raids, it's whatever, it's no different than doing strikes with randoms... but at the very least, you're able to actually play the f---in raids, rather than essentially being locked out. same thing with story missions, there needs to be matchmaking. the whole setup is f----- if the game is suppose to play like an MMO yet you can't actually get together in game easily to play with other people or interact with them or add them. it's r-----ed and it's not like adding matchmaking means you're forced to play with randoms, they can still let you play with people you know if you have people to play with already. this just means that everyone can now play the full game that they paid for i don't like dropping close to $100 on a game i don't even have the ability to access all of because -insert s-----y arbitrary reason here-

You really think story mode and main missions needs matchmaking? I guess if you're really having a tough time with a mission sure, but I dont think the missions are that difficult.
Mar 27, 2017 if you don't pvp and can't do raids, the missions get stupid difficult at times because you have s--- gear when you get to end game/some of the dlc missions (i remember a specific dlc had a ridiculous difficulty spike in it's missions when i last played, don't remember which one tho because I haven't played the game in a really long time now) and again, it's whatever with the random people man. i just want to play the game i paid for and not be locked out. it's bad game design if you make it to where it's essentially required that you play with other people or need other people for certain parts but then don't make a way for people to actually add each other or matchmake with each other to play those portions of the game. it also just doesn't make sense as the game is forcing you to be online in order to even play stuff like story missions, so if you're being forced online because it's suppose to be an mmo like experience where you play with other people but then you don't provide ways to do that... like... wtf are you doing?
Mar 27, 2017 I really feel like you're complaining just to complain lol. If you're not PvP or doing the raids and simply playing just the story missions, you're missing a lot of content. The game is based around light level. The higher your light level the better. I'm genuinely curious what missions you struggled with. I don't see how a person could be undergeared even if they haven't raided. Strikes and story missions are meant to give you the gear you need to beat high end content. Raiding requires other people. Simple as that. If you want the prestigious gear, you're gonna have to put the time in for it. It's not meant to be as simple as a pick up group for the best gear in the game.
Mar 27, 2017 i'm complaining because they designed it stupidly they act like it's an mmo type game and force it to be online for everything but then don't let you pair up with people or interact with them for basic things and pvp is just not something everyone wants to do m8. it's unbalanced as f--- for one, like most pvp in games, and it's just not that enjoyable for everyone. but that's whatever, i could care less about missing out on pvp. and I WANT to do the raids m8, so idk what you're on about on that front. what i've been saying about the raids the entire time now is that i, like a s--- load of people, have wanted to do the raids since they started and we're unable to because there's no matchmaking for it, so it screws us out of a giant chunk of gameplay and gear that we're paying for and you're not always going to get the gear you need just because you played through the strikes/missions regularly. i played through all of what i could and still had a lot of random difficulty spikes happen in some of the dlc stuff and lots and lots of times where it was just grinding and grinding and grinding and grinding before i could finally even hope to play through certain things because my light level was just too low
Mar 27, 2017 Cyreides Entire game is built around finding a group of people and becoming buddies with them and playing the content together. The Vault of Glass was one of my most cherished gaming experiences and the teamwork required is beyond random matchmaking. That would be an epic waste of time bro. If you're afraid to make friends you can join me and whoever else will be playing this game. It's worth it.. I used to think matchmaking was needed too but it would completely ruin the experience. It is on some MMO s---... that's what it is. Everyone gets their own role and you slowly get better and better at it. IF you have random f---ers every single time you would be spending hours trying to get past the first part. I used to Senpai noobs and lead/teach them how to do the parts of the raids and it was a giant waste of time man. Watch a f---ing video before you go in if you can't manage to learn it with experience... I never understood why people cry about that. You don't like pvp either? Like wtf are you even playing for lol. This isn't a singleplayer game and if that's the route you want, strikes and free roam exist, but you are locked out of the good gear because you don't earn it like everyone else.

Mar 27, 2017 You heard wrong. Smooth a--- shooter gameplay with loot system. Only reason people were upset is story mode (Lol) and the fact it had so many expansions. Which... is part of the experience. Playing each new content with all your buddies and going into the raids for the first time was a great experience. If they released everything at once, it would defeat the MMO purpose of the game. Every time a new expansion comes out, new gear comes out. It's how the structure is.
Mar 27, 2017 which you can't f---ing do because there's no chat system or a way to truly interact with other people or even f---ing add them in game m8 so you say, but who are you to decide that for me and everyone else stuck in this position since launch? if people like me want to play with random a--- people all day long then f---ing let me. it's not like they'd take away grouping up with your friends, it would be there as an option for those who can't except read what i wrote at the first part of this post it's not setup to handle proper mmo s--- because the vast majority of the content in the game is pve ???????? what a s-----y solution to an easily solvable problem. you shouldn't have to seek out random 3rd party websites outside of the game just to play it, not to mention you're still playing with randoms that way anyways, so what difference would it make if it was proper matchmaking instead? and that's as a--- backwards as 99% of the story content in the game being pushed to freaking grimoire cards outside of the actual game itself and i've tried to use a few websites and never got a single person added to play with from them and all of this stupid s--- could be solved by just letting people play how they want to play. it doesn't effect you if i can use matchmaking for raids m8 if you're still able to play with your friends in it. it makes no difference whatsoever except that i'm no longer locked out of giant portions of the game because reasons
