Eminem Do you listen Eminem in public?

    I'm not a huge rap fan but I did grow up on Eminem and used to be a huge fan. I still will always check for new stuff though. Anyway I found myself really enjoying Yelawolf's new album. I also am a fan of his verse in Best Friend but the song is great without him. Since the album is now on spotify I was playing it in the car. Johnny Cash bumps. I got to Best Friend and was at a light during Eminem's part and I turned it down because people were around. I don't know why. I did the same thing with MMLP2. My question is do other people do the same? This is a serious thread. What makes one of the biggest artist ever embarrassing to listen to? I never hear anyone else playing him but I feel like its cause they won't in public either. Discuss.

    I don't have a car and I normally don't listen to music in public without in-ears, but I did hear people listening to Eminem in public a few times.

    This has nothing to do with me. My question is why is he not played more in public? He is HUGE. I feel like its because he is a joke and maybe a guilty pleasure but not in public.

    Nah he isn't a joke, he's still taken serious by most people (maybe forums excluded).
    It's more embarrassing to not admit what you like than being embarrassed about what complete strangers on the streets think about you. Not even directed at you.

    I don't like Love The Way You Lie either, but what has one song to do with his whole discography?

    some of you need to stop saying who cares what people think. if you were picking your nose and someone was around would you continue? if we didnt care what people thought we would be walking around naked. people are dodging my question. why is eminem considered a joke? i think he hurt alot of his credibility with encore to be honest.

    think about how big eminem was in 2003 then he dropped encore. a--- like that and just lose it all over the radio.. that had to hurt bad and still till this day its effecting him. i also think him dissing his mom made him look really bad also.
