Mar 17, 2015 It comes close, kendricks story telling is always on form but Sing About Me I'm Dying Of Thirst is going to be hard to top, not only for kendrick but for any rap artist

Mar 17, 2015 I look at it like this Similar to Kanye's "Runaway" and Eminem's "Deja Vu" : Sing About Me, I'm Dying Of Thirst was a song that was created without knowing the absolute top-tier it would be held at. I consider it a flawless song. The type of track that comes a few times in a lifetime. I'm not expecting another one as good as that. So no, there aren't any. But mAAD city and money trees are arguably surpassable by a few tracks on TPAB
Mar 18, 2015 Mmm relistening to SAM, might have jumped the gun saying institutionalized is as good as it. still think it's one of the best on TPAB though. It's better than dying of thirst no question.
Mar 18, 2015 I brought this up as an observation on the JCN chat thread but no song on this album is as weak as the low points of GKMC but the strong points of GKMC blow away anything that's on here. As a whole project I think this one flows better but I might have to revisit GKMC to clarify this.

Mar 18, 2015 Actually, scratch that -- there are defintely going to be a few songs on here as good as the best of GKMC. For sure...they just keep better with each listen, so they gotta be at some point right?? For real tho, even the interludes on TPAB are better than a lot of GKMC. And this isn't even a slight on that album.

Mar 18, 2015 Nah. SAMDOT is absolute greatness. No diss to TPAB but no song on its is touching it. Lyrically, feel-wise, the perfectly executed concept, the bone-chilling skits>>>>> Wouldn't be surprised if it goes down as his best song ever.
Mar 18, 2015 Maad City, Money Trees, The Art Of Peer Pressure...Maybe we still need to give it more time like @Narsh said but man those songs left such an impression both initially and to this day, I just didn't get that from TPAB which is still a great piece of work in it's own right.
