Drake Doing It Wrong

    Why was "Doing It Wrong" even made or put on the album of Take Care, isn't it like just the same words repeated over and over. I was listening to this the other day and couldn't even get done with the track because it got so d--- annoying, it's like the only skippable track for me on the record.

    What are your thoughts on this song?

    I'm a fan of this song.

    The weakest tracks on Take Care for me are Make Me Proud, followed by the titular track. I don't hate Take Care (the song), it just doesn't really do much for me musically.

    Great vibes. It's nothing spectacular lyrically, but it's a pleasure to listen to.

    Take Care is an excellent song. Some of Drake's best writing, one of Rihanna's best vocal performances, and excellently produced. Didn't know there were people who didn't like it tbh.

    Like I said, it's not necessarily that I dislike it—honestly, I've gone back and forth on it a few times—but there are some times when I listen to the album and I feel myself wanting it to end so I can hurry up and get to Marvin's Room.

    I listened to it again just now and I like it a lot more than I remembered (been a bit since I've listened to Take Care), which led me to question if I ever really disliked it in the first place, especially because I'm usually a sucker for piano-based beats. Might just be its placement on the album, but I'd still say it's my second least favorite on the album...which really just shows how great Take Care is overall.

    Idk man, it not for Marvin's room I'd say it's the centerpiece of the album. It's so well-written and flawlessly executed.

    I meant more in the context of people who like Take Care. lol I figured you'd be the last person to get onto someone for being hyperbolic.

    Marvin's Room is no doubt a key moment, but for me, everything builds up to Look What You've Done. That's always the song I wait for when listening to Take Care. :idk:

    I mean it's undoubtedly one of the best on the album, but I view that more as the start of the ending stretch moreso than the album defining centerpiece.

    There's just this trend of drake fans online acting like a majority of casual music fans don't think he's corny lol

    I'm not say those casual fans are right, but just because we all think marvins room is fantastic, doesn't mean the general public does

    really love look what you've done. the simplistic production of the verses, then when the cymbals crash and the mellow bass comes in over the chorus :wow2:
