Yes he has had a lot of popular songs but when you think about it his popularity was only because of his personal life and drama. My Name Is was the one song that showcased his style as an artist and being Slim Shady. If it wasn't for him creating controversy then he wouldn't had any success past My Name is because no one would of checked for him anymore. Vanllia Ice made great music after Ice Ice Baby but he couldnt keep the spotlight on him so thats why he faded. Same goes for all other one hit wonders. This is why no one really care for Eminem anymore or his new music because there is no drama. He got lucky by having any success after his first album.

So you think if he didn't start dissing his mom and other singers people would pay attention to stupid songs like the real slim shady?

Rihanna is basically responsible for his success on Recovery, love the way you lie was only huge cuz of her. I even heard a few radio stations call it a Rihanna track featuring Eminem even though it's technically the other way around.

I'm not even an Eminem fan and I can tell you guys this is bs.

You can't just twist the meaning of the phrase "one hit wonder" for it to fit your point.

How can you disregard LTWYL as a Rihanna-made hit and call it the reason Recovery had success

When Eminem made a mega hit as a lead single by himself on Not Afraid
