    Speak up if you have a father that you appreciate and look up to...

    My father is an absolute genius when it comes to home improvements, electrical work, plumbing, car repairs, etc.. Ex-marine, father of three, and never wavered from his marriage to my mother. I'm so fortunate to have a father, let alone one who's been as caring and dedicated as he's been to me.

    thanks for continuing to beat and yell at me, even tho i'm a 25 year old man now lmao

    Taught me everything I know, I'll never have to hire someone to come fix something for me due to him, whether it has to do with cars, or just random s--- around the house, I picked up on everything from him.

    He was always hard on me and I never understood why or thought it was fair considering how different he was with my sisters but as I grew older, I've realized it has helped shape me into the person I am today and I'm thankful for that. He stepped up without the help of another parent and raised me and my two sisters and is now raising my 2 year old brother as well, all by himself (minus the help from myself).

    I have to go out tomorrow and figure out what I'm gonna do for him.

    Love my old man. He was really f---in tough on me and like Soldier said I never really understood why. Argued a lot but as I grew up I really learned to appreciate it and understand why. I wouldn't be who I am today without him.

    Yup. Me and him used to get into it a lot, plenty of shouting matches but none of it ever carried over. We would always be fine the next day. Plus, I'd be scared anyway cuz I know my old man would drop me so fast lol.

    But on the real, my dad is great. He's a huge Grateful Dead fan and luckily a bunch of my favorite artists right now came together recently to make a giant compilation of Grateful Dead covers that I'm buying for my dad.

    Anyways. Well.



    My dad really interesting he's done alot of s--- in his life.


    Was in the military overseas and at 19 married a foreign broad (my mom) that is wild I can't imagine that experience.


    He does BIG things for corporate of a few casinos here....


    He was never easy on me (being his only son) and really lit a fire under my a--- to go get everything I possibly can.



    All and all though f--- him on a personal level. I'm appreciative for the genetics and what he instilled in me but me and him don't mesh well on a personal level
