GOOD music, Top Dawg Ent., Cash Money, Roc Nation, Shady Records, Interscope, Aftermath, Atlantic, Def Jam, Def Jux, Geffen... the list goes on for some of the more well known labels out there currently. Then you have the older but more prominent labels like Death Row, Bad Boy, Rawkus, Jive etc etc.

So... which labels are your personal favourite from the past and present day?

Well if you start with his beat tapes you shoul deffinately listen to Clouds, Make Do
Besides that he has great collabo albums like Trophies with OC (probably the best till now) and Dice Game with Guilty Simpson..
Gas Mask with The Left was also great.. I think you'll find your way after those to dig deeper!

Favourite from the past would be Rawkus Records.
    • Black Star album
    • Mos Def's debut
    • Talib Kweli's first two albums
    • Big L's Posthumous 'The Big Picture' album

Also Jive as they had ATCQ's albums, Aaliyah and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince.

Cheers was '03. Ja beef was '03 as well.
